I agree.  IAS appeal worth trying on NO EVIDENCE, wrong car anyway.

  • Thank you all for your advice!
The exact contravention is "23 - You must park wholly within a marked bay" - but you really cannot see anything from the picture other than the wheel, high vis jacket reflections on the passenger window of the car and some leaves on the floor.

Okay, so yellow lines are irrelevant. Not your vehicle is therefore your best option.

  • Just to double-check, should I have a go at an IAS now or just wait for the NTK first?

You can't appeal to the IAS until you have appealed to the PPC and had it rejected.

Just wait for the NTK to arrive, which should be between 4 and 8 weeks from when the NTD was given.

If the NtD had the wrong VRM on it, how are the PPC going to find the name and address of the keeper?  Unless it was one of those cunning ones where they make a deliberate error hoping you will phone and make the correction!

It could be one of those as the registration is correct, just the picture is the wrong car...

Finally got the NTK! I don't seem to find anywhere on the NTK where I can appeal via e-mail - they seem to suggest I need to send in a letter in writing to their PO Box address. Is that normal? I would usually prefer to send it via e-mail so pictures can be attached.

Please do post here in a reply, a picture of the NTK (both sides) with any images of the car, PCN number, VRM, your name/address and the location covered.

    Leave ALL dates visible.

We need an Open Parking NTK example here:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6483542/a-thread-of-pictures-of-2023-parking-firm-ntks/p1

and we can also help you tell if it's POFA worded or not.
