University and Open Parking

Hello all, I'm a newbie to the forum.
I have been reading through the threads and am currently preparing to receive my NtK.
I parked on a doubel yellow in a University car park (nightmare to park in the morning, not enough spaces). But it doesn't obstruct anyone and it is unfortunately a daily necessity as cars constantly park there.
I received a ticket from Open Parking operating on University land, although could be self-ticketed unsure. I am currently complaining to the University while I wait for the NtK.
I am just reaching out to see if anyone has any points I could make in the complaint or the appeal? For some additional meat:
1. The PCN stuck to the windscreen has a misprint so the registration is printed on top of their website address making it hard to read, along with the PCN number (but that is repeated lower down)
2. The picture uploaded as evidence is a picture of my alloy - no yellow lines, no reg, no car, no signage
Any advice on the complaint and/or next appeal steps? I would rather get the university to cancel it as we already pay to park!

Have you read the Newbies/FAQ thread which explains exactly what steps to take and when for a windscreen NtD/PCN? Have you tried Plan A yet?
Without seeing the NtD or an NtK, just make sure you don't disclose the identity of the driver. Any appeal is made as the RK. "Driver" and "keeper" are two completely separate entities under the law.2 -
Imperial Civil Enforcement Solutions Ltd, an IPC member trading as Open Parking. It's not a company we hear much about on this forum.
As mentioned above, Plan A is always a complaint from the registered keeper to the landowner and the keeper's MP.
Failing that, wait for the NTK to arrive and play spot the difference to see if the information on them both match. Check the PPC's website/appeal portal (but don't pay) to see if there are any other photos of the vehicle that might help your case.
If you don't get a landowner cancellation, appeal using the template in blue text from the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES.
Make sure the address on your V5C is correct and up to date. Don't assume; go and check. You need to make sure the NTK will arrive at your current address for service.I married my cousin. Are there no pics online when you log in, showing the double yellows?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you all for the comments so far. @Coupon-mad no, it is literally a picture of my alloy and the side of my car with no yellow lines in site.In my naivety, I complained to my university admitting I was parked on double yellows so they are very much refusing to cancel the ticket. I should have come to this forum first.Could I pursue the avenue of checking the training of "Campus Support Officers" as they are the ones doing the self-ticketing. FOI on the contract between them? Just trying to find ways to get the ticket cancelled by the unviersity at this stage.0

Why not just appeal to the NTK as registered keeper, saying there's no photo evidence of a contravention?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad Does that mean when my NTK comes to appeal with the blue template in the Newbies thread and add on a sentence on there being no photo evidence of contravention?

Okay that sounds good. I also double checked the picture and it's not even my car. The alloy is completely different.

Even better. As I advised earlier, don't appeal yet. Take photos of your vehicle/wheels now and see if you have any photos taken before the alleged event to show the wheels are the same and have never been changed.
Once the NTK arrives, appeal using template in blue text with the one liner about this not being your car. Add photos of your wheels to show they are different.
Normally we don't advise an IAS appeal, but in this case I think if your initial appeal is rejected it would be worth a second stage appeal if you can prove the photos taken were not of your car, and it wasn't parked on double yellows.
What is the exact contravention stated on the NTD?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2
