Thanks everyone. I got my brand new handyman an hour into his first day to rush me to hospital on Monday. I've been in agony, am still there, service in line with newspaper horror stories therefore doubly hard for me to cope with as I was already phobic. I may be let out early next week but only if blood results improve and pain settles. Most of the time I've been unable to text IE texting a single line took 10 or more attempts. There's WiFi here but virtually no phone signal.
Only been able to think more clearly since Thursday...
Most physically painful week of my life. I need to lose 4 stone so I can have an operation as even when this calms itself risk of it reoccurring.
I have not been reading diaries, barely listened to music etc as in such a state of overwhelm.
Thanks for caring. Shouldn't be life threatening but lots of uncertainty and excruciating pain....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Oh no 😟 Sounds very hard and something of a shock for you too. Hope that someone local can bring some care packages in for you. I found fresh water and simple things like grapes (they are a cliche for a reason! 😉), digestive biscuits etc. were the biggest help.Sending huge but gentle hugs.
