If the three parties agree could be 30th... so just over 2 weeks. I've just got my neighbour to witness the related forms. Now debating getting a courier tomorrow to take them for the following day. Need to check out options. The seller has done the recommended electrical work just awaiting updated certificate so that's fantastic news.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

So pleased the viewing went well today.
I agree with @EssexHebridean - I think the removal men work very hard, are flexible and are skilled at what they do. I personally like to give them a tip as a tangible way of thanking them for helping me through a long and busy day.3 -

Well we've had a dusting of snow overnight. Had to use my electric blanket in the night as even though I'd left my heating on low it was still cold. Feeling exhausted today - but relieved that BIL thinks the house is okay.
I've emailed my solicitor. I need to finish getting dressed and then send my property docs recorded delivery. Will be slightly late starting work. Apparently the type of doc it is can't be sent by the couriers I investigated. I'll also return my signed mortgage offer. Hopefully on the home straight now (pun intended!).
It's far too logical to pack one room at a time MF and it appears I'm not capable of that. I still need to finish DS's room and I brought stuff in from the garage into my lounge as it's warmer so that's a work in progress too. They are my main focus currently. However from 9pm last night I also made some art... with attendant mess / extra items out... It felt like a good time to play with grout on a canvas and then paint it - plus some glitter, use of shaped rollers etc. I did throw away 2 tubes of filler as they'd gone off so worth it for that. I think I was too heavy handed with the glitter so think I have more work to do. I need some light relief to balance the packing and sorting though.
