Look at how far you've come since your new life started. Who'd have thought so much decluttering would take place, that you'd have money in the bank, no debt, DD has flown the nest and DS has settled into his life. All are fantastic achievements and yet the list of new changes carries on, art school, portraits, meeting new people.
Imagine how much more fulfilling your move will be! Attend new classes, make more friends and acquaintances, let alone having dream views, a lower mortgage, more money in the bank and bigger plans for the future.
One thing about painting, you'll always find bits to tweak, every artist does. The trick is learning to walk away and start a new painting as no doubt there's loads of ideas you want to do.
Belated Christmas wishes. Sounds like you've done loads and had good times.

Yes relieved about the mortgage although I need to see the paperwork.
Interesting but tiring day. Went to see an art exhibition an hour or so away which I enjoyed other than the faff of getting there. Then dropped stuff at sis's house that I'd brought back for them on Xmas day. Then went to the Swedish shop. Getting the offer has clarified what I want/don't want for the new house.
I've bought a sofa in the seconds / assembled area - for around £420 delivered (due Sunday). That saved me £300 compared to the new flatpack price. That means I can get rid of my L-shaped sofa before I move. I may just put the new one in the garage for now. I'm likely to buy another sofa post move - but that's likely to be leather rather than fabric and I didn't want to rush that decision.
I bought a new office chair (£90) that I'll leave boxed until I move. My buyers want two of the office chairs here and I hadn't planned to keep either anyway. I will keep my work one. The new house will have a dedicated art space which is where I'll put the new chair. I've used my work chair a few times this week while working on a bigger canvas.
I bought a £25 lamp to match one I'd bought a month or two ago. My buyers would like my original bedside table lamps - and I'm debating whether to sell them to them or not for £40 for the pair - however to buy a single one in that style currently would be £35 on Am**** as the place I originally got them from no longer has them. I'm tempted to keep them as they are quite robust if knocked over which isn't the case for the other bedside lamps I have in the spare bedroom. DD would like those and I may let her have them as they are quite delicate and I think they are likely to just get broken. They look gorgeous though.
I also bought 3 zip up bedding bags (£3 each) & 2 storage tables (£9 down from £29 each) plus a half price mirror for £30. I plan to get rid of grey ottoman box from the living room and DD took her laundry hamper. I'm obsessed with mirrors and reflecting light around...
I was tempted to buy a dining bench at £450!! but just took a photo for now. It would match in well with my new sofa and should work with the kitchen table they are leaving behind. But it wasn't on any kind of offer so no rush for that decision.
BIL has said he may come over with one of my nephews tomorrow - and if he does he may put a mattress in the car so I can take it to the tip for free.

Makes sense to get a temp sofa sounds like it was a bargain price. We rushed our decision to get one as we didn’t have any and it was such a long wait when you order. Had I ordered today I would have had a corner sofa for sure.I would resist buying too much too soon things can look very different once they remove their stuff and you’re actually there.Well done on decluttering I know I’ve still got loads to do.Save £12k in 25 No 49

It sounds like you are doing really well with the organising. I sold some lovely breakfast bar stools to the buyer when we sold our first house - at a steal - I always slightly regretted it, but we never did have another house with a breakfast bar so was the right thing to do."Think of many things, do one"
