Went to family event. DS drove there with me from his place and part of journey back where he took a train. It made it easier. Full on weekend though. Definitely need recuperation time today.

I’m sitting here on my own (apart from snoozing cat 😉) after 10 of us at a 5 hour family event for Mr KK’s nephew yesterday. I am also decompressing! 😉😊
What are you using for the Italian learning? Duo?

Yes Duo KK.
Totally with you on the decompressing.
My mortgage went out Friday so now owe just over £650 less. DD has returned the money she borrowed so I can send that to the credit card. My cleaning company have said they are unable to find anyone to clean so that's going to be an issue. Need to explore alternatives but will probably wait until after my holiday now. Will reduce my outgoings for a bit - but ironically I'd already taken the cash out to pay her.
I ended up spending more than planned this weekend as we got asked late on to take food - and others didn't seem to be / claimed limited funds so I ended up spending more but it was a bit birthday for someone so fair enough. DS and his partner paid for my meal out Friday so it was swings and roundabouts. That was a change it's normally me who pays - I offered to pay half of the total cost but they said no. I also had to top up my fuel - and I don't know whether what I now have left will last until pay day or not. Will need to update my spreadsheet and see where I am at overall.
Done a bit more Italian. Brain feels muzzy now though so need to stop.
