Beautiful wild flowers and I am really glad the hotel is being kind to you.

    I didn’t know that ‘getting fitter’ was usually a purpose of a holiday….? 🤔😉

    Thanks Jwil, Lucielle & DIA

Today I hired an electric boat and went on the lake. The current was really strong so glad I wasn't trying something more ambitious. I went in a couple of souvenir type shops. Had a gorgeous ice cream with 🍓 while out and a drink inside as I was boiling. Came back to hotel and swam.

I rest most of the morning and start my day proper around lunchtime.  I get up for breakfast around 9... I've only gone in the pool early evening when it is / is mostly empty.

I've been partly listening to my book 1 of a series using the W read aloud feature. I'll then use the same strategy for book 2 but potentially edit as I go. I only need to write about three more chapters and then the first draft of book 2 would done. So that's my goal for the summer. I looked on Am**** recently and have gained a couple of reviews. Average 4.8. Given I haven't been promoting it - it's encouraging.

The weather may be about to turn so trying to fit what I can in of sightseeing before then. Been very hot the last couple of days though.

That looks delicious.   And the hotel staff sound so kind and reassuring.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
