You sharing your birthday celebrations on here has prompted me to book the day off for mine - something I do every year 😊 It’s a Wednesday this year, so will feel even more illicit and treatlike than usual! 😊

Thanks for all the well wishes. I sent off my review yesterday.
I weigh over 2.5 stone less than the start of the year and 4 stone less than my worst ever weight in 2021 - yet I've pretty much been wearing the same clothes despite that... So it's lovely to see a more shapely silhouette emerge even if I still have a long way to go. I think the makeup was a turning point - and then last weekend's new green dress... I talked to my counsellor about it this week too and she commented on how much happier I sound in my own skin. I like that. Being a size 18ish instead of 22-24 opens up clothes that have been barred to my for a while as they didn't go up to my size. When DS saw me last week he said it was like a grand reveal as he hadn't seen me since I'd lost the weight as I last saw him the day I left hospital.
On Friday after my cut and colour - I went to TK's and tried on lots of clothes. I got a thick B3nch hoodie for £20 instead of £54, a form fitting multi-coloured hoodie for £20 instead of £67. I also got some DK** sandals for £40 - patent black and cream that are very comfortable. I went to Mat****n and bought some anti-chafe shorts and a black top for £18. I then came home and tried on other clothes to see what went with what. I packed up some of my over-sized, older clothes and hope to not need them again - unless I use any to paint in. I identified one dress that DD got me to wear in hospital that can definitely go to charity!!
I had a lovely day yesterday exploring my new local town - and buying new clothes. I've decided it's a good use of £ after all - as my recent purchases have boosted my confidence - and effectively are a reward for my recent weight loss. Yesterday I bought some bright red tailored MK trousers in an outlet shop - they need a new zip but given they cost me £7 instead of their original £48 - I was fine with that. I'd spotted an alteration place earlier so left them there and pick them up next Saturday (less than £10). I bought a stretchy navy N jacket for £28. I also got a new navy and cream short dress from NL that looked great with navy cropped leggings for £27. From R0man I bought an emerald green pair of cropped trousers and a red pair for £17 each.
I'm going to return some other clothes I bought in the last couple of weeks - about £67 worth for about 4 items (shirt, skirt and 2 tops) - as the latest stuff is much better quality and suits me better. I kept a top I got at Sains for £15 - that's bright pink, red and black and wore it today with my red cropped trousers, a multi-coloured hoodie and my new sandals that are ultra comfortable. Finding designer sandals that are comfortable and actually fit my extra wide feet - was also a sign that my feet have lost some weight - and I really hope that I didn't buy my new trainers too soon as yesterday they were a bit slippier than in the past. My next goal is to find some comfortable coloured bras given so many tops and dresses these days seem to show them!!
For once I'm looking forward to when I next get to socialise so I can show off my new clothes and trimmer figure. It even made me wonder about a holiday abroad or even dating... I do feel better when the sun comes out - but I think the weight loss is helping too - especially as I seem to be able to maintain it which in the past has been a major struggle. My weight loss has slowed perhaps a half pound or 1 or 2 in any one week but it is still happening which is promising. The ADHD meds are helping with that. I'm trying to have more veg, fruit and salad too...

I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy4 -
