Thanks Beanie, BM, Skint, WD and DIA

I've given in and ordered a cordless stick of the sealife variety. I'll let you know how I get on. For anyone considering it - Am**** is well priced - but the manufacturer's website will give you 10% off if you sign up for their newsletter. Because the Am**** deal was so good - I only saved about £12 in practice but still better than nothing. A lot of people say the battery life is poor however - so be mindful of that. An extra battery is around £80 and for the one I've just bought it's out of stock!! I still need to unbox my robot...

Totally agree on the RS comments... Idiot!!

WD - the C1111t b*ng spray is pretty good - it needs a few applications but it has seen off the black mould in bed 3 - and in that case I just sprayed and didn't rub. Bed 1 is pretty clear now after spray and being wiped down. Bed 2 needs more spray.

DIA on the fleas - I've done my best to banish the cat to the back L shape or outside and removed soft furnishings from that area. I then sprayed the hall, lounge, landing and bathroom with anti flea stuff and started a great washing mountain of cushions and blankets. There are even some washable mats in the hall I need to sort. Not much more I can do until Monday when the vet reopens. I'll then try and take the cat down and get its microchip read - and then I can update my address.

I'm utterly exhausted from going out with DD and her BF earlier. We went to Primarni and I got two black zip up (mens) hoodies - one for £9 (very soft) and a smarter one for £18 that was a bit more like a lightweight jacket. I also got some new makeup as I plan to throw most of my cheap stuff away I've had it (and not used it) for so long.

I haven't found my spending off button yet either - probably due in part to the 0% spends CC - it's less painful than withdrawing £ from savings. I think returning to work will help though.

I've ordered more of my fave shoes. I went on an outlet and a pair I bought for full price last year was half price etc... I got 3 pairs of trainers from that site. I also got 2 pairs from the main site - as they had special member deals and it was free to join. This is unusual for me... I'll let you know what they are like when they come. They had free returns - so it's possible I may return some of them... One of the two main pairs of trainers I use though is wearing out at the heel so would need replacing soon regardless.

I wouldn't worry too much about a spare battery.  I never even thought of one.  Mine was only a cheapo as I wanted to see how I coped & it has done a whole house of whoops I haven't vacuumed for a while without a problem.
