  • Wow to your bling tiles savingholmes.  Was that a bit of a shock when you first viewed?  Or were you like me and just so baffled that you thought your brain was mis-firing?

I'm so pleased to hear that you're feeling better but also requesting a bit more time off to look after yourself.  It's surprising how long it takes to regain sufficient energy levels after being so poorly.

Love your art work, it is beautiful. Spending some time at the beach sounds like a very good idea, there is something very calming about the sea.

    Lovely art work.

Hope you get to the beach, though are you affected by the storm today?

Thanks for the encouragement and welcome @OpalGirl @~FlowerPot~ and Jwil

I'm not aware of a storm here today. Not due any rain until this evening at the earliest. The beach I'm considering going to is even a couple of degrees warmer than here.

Slow start today. Just had breakfast. May go after lunch so more MSE and easier with my restricted diet. That way I could have coffee out rather than a meal.

Glad to read that you are feeling better SH and gaining strength. Loving the sound of the plants that you have bought. Ceanothus is one of my favourites, especially when the bees are buzzing in the scramble to reach the flowers. I didn’t realise that you could train a red robin plant. I  have one that has moved around the garden and needs to move again because it’s just not in the right place yet!  Have you thought about Erigeron or cotoneaster horizontalis - both will cascade nicely!

    The art work looks amazing.

    The bird art is stunning.
I think you must take your time to go back to work.  You are always diligent and hardworking and don't shirk so as you don't feel ready then it's right for you to take another couple of weeks to build up your strength and stamina.
