  • Well almost 9pm and both kids are bathed and in their beds with everything organised for school/work tomorrow. Time to sit down with a cuppa, watch some tv and update my list before bed.

ince DH is on a day off we are going to try and get some decluttering and decorating done in the house.

    Tasks for today
    Feed the animals
    Get dressed
    Declutter the kitchen table
Dismantle the table and put it outside ready to go to the recycling centre
Do the high dusting in the kitchen - Work in Progress as forgot that the top of the kitchen cupboards would be needing a good wash down.
Wash down the window frames and door in the kitchen.
Make a start on painting the kitchen - Work in Progress but got half of it painted.
Declutter the table in the living room
Declutter under the table in the living room
Put away the Halloween decorations that have just been sitting on the living room table since they were down a few weeks away.
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor - Work in Progess as doing this as I work around the room painting.
Do uni homework for next week.
Submit ID to HR for new job
Submit ID to local council for upcoming exam invigilator work
Look into claiming points on survey accounts to use towards festive presents.
Delete 50 emails from personal inbox
    Organise the festive food shopping

    Start festive shopping
Go and collect stuff from friend
Move the box out of the bedroom and put it into the shed.
Do some of the ironing pile.
Assist DH with sorting through the pile of clothes.

Well, I didn't get everything done but happy with the progress that I have made with cleaning, decluttering, and decorating. Now time to relax for a while before heading to bed, as it's going to be a rather busy week. Hope everyone has had a good week.

That was a very long list so I'm not surprised you didn't complete it. You did an awful lot though - a lot more than I did!

Was in the WAC, in the early hours. Lay thinking, "I hope I've not offended @Valli. Hope she doesn't think I'm implying that her parents are poor",
no, not at all…I genuinely appreciate all comments/suggestions.

ETA CoG…hummm…they’re pikelets here too…im beginning to think you’re near me.

Went to the artisan market this morning, bought a christmas gift, looked in the new Asian shop (and bough peppercorns) and went to savers, then atop mr m  for veg, bought 3 bottles of wine for xmas gifts as 25% off then spent the afternoon cooking a big tea.  Stepdad now claiming he didn’t have a seizure bit fell down the stairs which is absolute rubbish as he was upstairs afterwards and he couldn’t walk and there’s no way mum dragged him back up…i see right through him…he thinks if it was a fall not a seizure then he won’t lose his driving licence.  He’s also denying he ever had a previous episode.
