Write Christmas cards
I thought of a couple of last things to buy for Christmas so tomorrow The Works are delivering the last two Christmas presents, L's birthday present (8th Jan) and 3 for £6 books for me. 🤭
Sorted. And all Christmas presents are safely stashed in the ottoman....because I needed my shopping bags for Mr Al.
I need food.

Valli I’m not sure - I confess I haven’t washed ours before! They are absolutely brilliant though, I wouldn’t be without ours.
Tree up, ragu simmering, packed lunch made for tomorrow, small amount of admin done. Home Alone time now. See you all on the new thread x8 -
Did everything I intended today and two wash loads. Baking is a lovely moist chocolate cake. Headache gone and I've already had a slice. Told you I never learn.
Just doing some knitting before DGD2 arrives in an hour.
See you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.10 -

cactus punishment? I know cacti have spines so i suspect a blocked word beginning with p is relevant here…otherwise puzzled.
Heated blanket.. I woud LOVE one.. I am always freezing. My Pa has one.. he is always cold since his cancer stuff... and he likes to nap. Yes most ar machine washable. They have a sealed connector which detaches so the blanket can be washed.

well done on the shortbread CoG and bread and butter pudding is my absolute favourite…if i spot a ys fruit loaf anytime i’m in! In fact I was considering it for todays tea, but im now leaning towards the stupidly easy (ie microwaveable) sponge pudding…if i have any golden syrup. Round here golden syrup.is called treacle…well it’s not treacle so confusion is often caused. To distinguish actual treacle is called black treacle. Anyway…
Heated throw huh? What is this of which you speak? Sounds like something DD would like. She’s slim and has Raynaud’s so feels the cold and i get tart retorts if i suggest she adds a fat layer. (not severe Raynaud’s so i’m fairly sure it’s not a formal diagnosis), my mum has it too, and they’re both left handed).
ETA had a quick google…head buzzing. Any recommendations? Are they washable? Since we have a cat i’m sure she’d want to get in on the act too so i would want to be able to wash it…
Oh im feeling quite chirpy by the way…thanks for the wishes…now i’ve joined the abemaciclib support group on facebook it appears i suffer lots less than most, to the point where I actually don’t say anything! Me, silent!Thank you - it was a great find. I just hope they still have them when I go back next week.I've always called golden syrup treacle too. I also call what they call down here crumpets, pikelets. And what they call swede I call turnip and what they call turnip I call white turnip. Not that we ever had white turnip growing up, it was always turnip, sorry, swede. This morning I had a decent walk and called in at the bakery for another cheese straw (we limit ourselves to weekend only). When I got back I made A a coffee and then faffed around until it was time to go to mass. I normally go to the 8.30 but didn't get up in time so decided to go to the 12.15. Just as I was about to leave A had a dizzy spell and had to sit down where he was (which was on the floor by the front door). It took a while to resolve this situation and by the time I had it was too late to go to the 12.15 so I went to the 4.30 instead, which was at a church I only go to occasionally.I made lunch and washed up, and then sent an email to several people who have helped before to ask if they would again donate something to the charity event. After mass I called in at M&S as due to mismanagement on my part there was nothing interesting for supper. I got home, had a glass of wine (well, more than one actually) and made supper. I partially washed up and will finish after we've watch the Strictly results programme, which I recorded.Whilst I was out a Bosch window vac (to remove condensation) arrived from Amazon. We had a Karcher one previously, which was brilliant, but it broke and was not that old so as it's condensation season again I thought I would replace it, but with a different brand.8 -

Declutter the table in the living room
Declutter under the table in the living room

That was a very long list so I'm not surprised you didn't complete it. You did an awful lot though - a lot more than I did!

ETA CoG…hummm…they’re pikelets here too…im beginning to think you’re near me.
Went to the artisan market this morning, bought a christmas gift, looked in the new Asian shop (and bough peppercorns) and went to savers, then atop mr m for veg, bought 3 bottles of wine for xmas gifts as 25% off then spent the afternoon cooking a big tea. Stepdad now claiming he didn’t have a seizure bit fell down the stairs which is absolute rubbish as he was upstairs afterwards and he couldn’t walk and there’s no way mum dragged him back up…i see right through him…he thinks if it was a fall not a seizure then he won’t lose his driving licence. He’s also denying he ever had a previous episode.
