Hi guys, I hope you are keeping well. I sent the mentioned emails, but besides the reception automatic emails I have heard nothing in regards to them allocating to my local County court, how long normally should take them to respond? As this is quite impactful for me, it's really messed up that I should need to travel such long distance in case there would be a hearing. Thank you for the tips as usual.

Have you tried calling the CNBC and asking them why they screwed up and for them to hurry up and fix it?

Well, I did call the CNBC and honestly I'm even more gutted after having contacted them. Let it be said first of all that as I was asking for some sort of support/help - they did nothing to help me out - the agent end up putting me on hold and ended the call. I did not raise my voice or used any other than polite language with the agent.

I was basically told that the case is out of their hands and so they are not responsible anymore on what happens with the case. If I want this to be addressed now it seems to be my problem to address directly with St Helens????!!!!!! - they wash their hands.

I mentioned I had written their team, because this was a mistake on their part , to be told that the issue was not who had made the mistake but that the case was off their hands?????. I explained also this situation they had created could left me defenceless in the case I would need to attend a hearing 600kms away from my place - which again the agent didn't seem to care much about and repeated the same phrase - your case is not with us anymore.

I insisted and explained that I had written to their CaseProgression team. Seems that if they would follow up that would possibly be in 5-6 weeks!!!!! In the meantime they couldn't do anything for me. There is also no other way to contact them besides by email.

After asking what should happen then and as I was taking no for an answer the agent put me on hold and then close the call.

This is the support you can get from them as an individual and it makes clear why these scamming companies on parking tickets are running rampant and making clear use of the system.

Not sure where to go from here, besides staying put and praying this is replied at some point????

I will try to contact St Helens, but I'm presuming that's not going anywhere either.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, surely you already emailed St Helens, as advised by @ChirpyChicken ?

it seems to be my problem to address directly with St Helens????!!!!!!
That is true. Why the question marks? We already said it is St Helens who will sort it out for you.

The only reason to also raise it with the CNBC was merely to complain about their error. They can't get the file back or sort it. They SHOULD have apologised. Did they? That was all your complaint was seeking.

You could raise a complaint with HMCTS to say that CNBC have a staff member making this error repeatedly and they aren't listening or apologising.

HI Coupon-mad, indeed I emailed St Helens, but haven't heard anything back at all. I also tried to call them several times without any success whatsoever.

My question marks came because while I understand I do need to address this with St Helens, this is a mistake on the part of the CNBC, they should take some ownership on this mistakes been made by their teams. In the end if this is not addressed at any time, how are we supposed to attend a hearing on the other side of the country??? Could we raise when making our defence or at some point if St Helens allocate a hearing day that this odd situation is taken to account and the process delayed until the correct local court has been allocated?

Far from apologising by the way - I have also receive no answer over email whatsoever from the CaseProgression.CNBC team - I was told this was not their problem anymore and that it didn't matter whether a mistake was made or not, that the case was off their hands......so they wash their hands and that's it.

I was told to raise if I wanted yet another complaint with the GOV.UK website through the form, not sure that will serve any purpose at all seeing the current situation so far.

I just want to make sure that this is not falling in oblivion for them, and all of a sudden I receive a letter a few weeks down the line with an allocated date and a court hearing 600kms away from my home. I can't take the days off, spend the money in travelling there etc, who will cover for all this?

But you won't be doing that.

Follow up with St Helens with another email and do the HMCTS complaint I advised above.

Thank you for the support. When you mean I won't be doing that, sorry I don't follow, what you mean?

I've sent yet another email to St Helens court asking them to please address this matter as urgent and acknoledge confirmation of the request I've sent and also I've raised the complaint with HMCTS through the form on their website.

I hope this actually serves for something and this is corrected. Fingers crossed.
