HI Coupon-mad hope you are keeping well.

Way sooner than expected, I've received the DQ N180 by the CNBC. I think I presented the defence on the 2nd/3rd week of December, and I've received already the questionnaire early last week.

I had not been able to see the form properly, and I was relying on the forum post as it seemed pretty straight forward at 1st, but now I'm a bit lost and need to answer by this Thursday 6th Feb.

I'm planning to download an electronic version of the form and complete on my computer. That said a few questions that are giving me trouble:

    A) Mediation is not optionable now, so there is no such question
    B ) Pretty straight forward
    C) YES, clearly
    D) This is the new one and the one giving me headaches. I understand the right answer should be NO, but then what would be the argument for NO? Also, I believe my local county court would be Hertford County Court, and reading some of the posts here, are they more prone to hearing on the papers? Sorry I don't really understand this step/question.
    E) Answers to the questions for the mediation appointment are pretty clear, but then I have not seen a proper example of the mediation call, and what to answer, any help/post I can read?
F1) This is related to D, so is that the correct local county court? I've checked on the gov website with my postcode
    F2) I understand is a NO
F3) It would be only me, so 1
F4) I understand I should point any holidays or work trips

rest seems pretty straight forward. Finally to send it back I believe I've got the email for the CNBC, for DCBLegal, should it be the generic email on their end?

Many thanks for the support as usual.

The right info is in the NEWBIES thread which covers question D1. Answer it as best you can.  Nobody really needs a template to say why you want a hearing in person.

Thanks Coupon-mad, as usual for coming so quick back to support in here. Regarding this phase I've read the posts and while I've got an overall idea of what's to be written in the form, not sure if maybe the thread should be updated for this new form as the info it's there, but it's not such pretty straight forward to put together.

For the right court/local court I understand that the best way to find the right one is through the GOV website and search by money claims. In my case is Hertford and I'm not sure whether this one may have any issues or not, as I read in some post that there are better courts than others? I can also select Chelmsford. Any inputs on this?

And any specific format for the body of the email when sending to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk and the claimants? As it was required with the defence?

To inform the claimants legal solicitor, I understand I can use the same email from DBCLegal, correct?

    info@dcblegal.co.uk

    Many thanks!

Hi guys, so the process continues and I received recently email notification of my mediators appointment, to happen on the 3rd week of March.

Is there any guideline or tips on how to progress on this conversation with them? I obviously have clear that I will challenge the entirety of the claim and that I don't want to reach a settlement, but not sure how to go through the supposed questions? It also says the mediator appointment could/should take up to 1 hour?

Thanks for the guidance as usual.
