Session on this evening for 30 minutes only - 18:00 to 18:30. And they are asking for bids for lower volumes with no guaranteed acceptance price so it will be interesting to see what suppliers bid and who is successful. We should know in about an hour if Octopus are successful and at what price.

Octopus bid has been accepted so looks like it's on from 18:00 to 18:30 tonight - just waiting for Octopus to update the app so we can find out how much they're paying and opt in.

    Loop only offering 75p/kwh
  • In as always here, although with just 30 minutes at £1.75/kWh we’re looking at a very low earnings potential.

NG will naturally want to determine how low they can go with the scheme and, I suspect, aren’t feeling quite as inclined to pump as much money into the test sessions with a lessening need for genuine demand reduction.
    Moo…
  • That window I use less in and with it only being half an hour I will not be able to drop more than 1.3-1.5kWh, but still better than nothing.

This is the smallest test yet: only 151MW procured.  Octopus are only receiving £1.20 per kwh so by paying 1400 Octopoints, worth £1.75, they will be making a loss on this one.
