Octopus saving sessions

Savings Session now confirmed and I have just opted in via the app. £1.75/kWh today so less than previously. Octopus put in a lower bid than other suppliers today presumably in order to increase the chances of the bid being accepted. Other suppliers have secured higher prices but some have had their bids rejected. I guess that's the nature of auctions.

Can you see the range of bids put in by different suppliers anywhere?mmmmikey said:Savings Session now confirmed and I have just opted in via the app. £1.75/kWh today so less than previously. It shows as last updated 2 weeks ago but that might be an issue with my browser as if I open the csv the data for today's auction is there.

We've got a sunny day here so hoping I won't have to bother importing much if anything to export back. Works out at £1.90 per kwh for us as we'll get 15p p/kwh as the normal export rate on top.

My baseline is 7.18kWh so if I reschedule the heating, turn off the mains and run off batteries for everything else I'll make £12.56 which is well worth having. Will make a cup of tea (using the stove top kettle) and sit in front of the fire watching some (battery powered) TV while dinner cooks in my (gas) oven.Would have preferred £2.25/kWh as before but musn't grumble....0

If you charge up a laptop or ipad, you could watch TV without running off the battery and save even more.

I'm only being offered £1.52 per kWh from eon.next so won't be taking part.
