I'm out this time. 93 points really isn't worthwhile emptying the battery as far as I'm concerned. Must try harder Octopus. Can't imagine many people who don't have batteries bothering for 11 5/8p per kwh

Plus the 12p/kWh I'd normally get, so a total of 23 5/8 p per kWh!
And I can refill it for 8p/kWh later …

Eh, I always opt in just in case we do save anything, but we don't go to any special lengths. Just avoid any extra usage where possible.

We can only refill at just under 13p. No EV rates in our house. We have E7. We'd export about 2.2kwH, only making at 20p on the cycle.

Our baseline at the moment is zero as we're running on batteries at that time. I could probably get 16 points by opting in and doing nothing, but to me that sends the signal that 93 points is still an attractive option…. which it isn't. IMO.

I've opted in but in truth I've got nothing to turn off so will earn nothing. I don't get much in winter but at least I can turn the light off!
