That still doesn’t explain why you tried to use as much electricity as possible during the saving session.runsonair said:0 -

Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.1 -
That's a bit if an exaggeration given the price of pints, plural lol but I get the sentiment.MattMattMattUK said:
I agree with this, I am signing up to the sessions, but in general I am in no way incentivised by a few pence. On some of tests last year and the year before I could go to the pub for an hour, have a couple of pints and still be better off when I got home, now with the shift in the window and the very low rate offered for reduction even if I turned everything off on the consumer unit I would be lucky to make more than a few pence. I just carry on as normal and if I make a bit because I accidentally use a bit less then great, but otherwise I am not bothered.born_again said:
Maybe protest is a bit strong.EssexHebridean said:
I assume that some people have decided to protest about the amounts now being offered by savings sessions by instead opting to use more energy than they usually would that those times...noitsnotme said:
Simply deciding to not bother, as OK you are saving a bit off your bill (not counting the uploaders here) But a bonus 2p in octopoints is not exactly something of incentive to keep interest in these sessions.🤷♀️0 -
Even if we don't get paid as much as last year are we not overall saving the grid money (our money) by them not having to buy energy in on the interconnects at some ridiculous price?
Yes it's a shame we can all have more.0 -
