Remember when doing your budgets, beer is a revenue expense, not a capital expense.MattMattMattUK said:
Not entirely, but beer has it's own budget line and actual was well below budget in both Jan and Feb so no harm in having a few tonight.Slinky said:MattMattMattUK said:Opted in, I probably cannot save much with the short window and when it is, but to be safe I will go to the pub at half five and not get back until midnight!
Not exactly a moneysaving solution!
You only rent the beer. 😁

And there is a disposal cost once you're done with with the beer.pete-20-11 said:

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
Hmm, didn't get off to the best start. Forgot until just now, so savings will be limited to about 0.1 kWh, but I had a low baseline (0.25 kWh) anyway.

Same here. The only benefit I'm getting from these 30 minute sessions are the 'Streak Bonus' points. None of which have arrived yet....masonic said:Hmm, didn't get off to the best start. Forgot until just now, so savings will be limited to about 0.1 kWh, but I had a low baseline (0.25 kWh) anyway.
Still, I enjoyed my free Greggs coffee this morning.1 -
It's quite a party season time of year for us so a bit hit and miss over these three and things going on
Opted in for the chance of £1000 and the streak bonus like others it seems0 -
I m new to these saving session .first one was £1.50 but last one was just 23 p .base line down to just 0.10 watts and switched off at consumer unit from for the 30 mins..I m realising now that this game is not aimed at low users so I prob won t play any more .How is the baseline worked out because mines gone right downmasonic said:Hmm, didn't get off to the best start. Just 14p this time unfortunately, but I'll get the bonus points and be entered into the prize draw.1 -
I ve had three savings sessions at same time last three days and used zero watts so that would have lowered my average use at that time ..It's lower anyway because I moved to Agile and now avoid the 4 pm to 7 pm period ..That explains the low baseline ,thanksmasonic said:SAC2334 said:

I think saving sessions are excluded when working out the baselineSAC2334 said:

Also to the point above re not taking part, even if you don't earn much money, every little bit of energy saving helps - it all adds up overall if everyone does similar.
Not so important during tests, but very useful during live events when it's saved energy or use dirty fuels. 😀PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)1
