I love that some have shared their personal struggles to help another fly-friend..
I love this little corner of the world. It warms the cockles so it does!
Bloods done, Pixies appointment done, Dot the only one of the 4 at school.. not happy!! She is VERY resistant to sanitary towels.. We are fighting a battle..
I need to find some floor.. DD1 is coming with Mr Rolypoly later so it needs to be clear and safe.. it is not at the moment.
I may have OH hang out the wet bedding too.. because I am useless and haven't done it.

Morning all,
Lots of flylady kudos to Jazee for being brave enough to share to help another flylady.
I have another day off, then back to work tomorrow, I am stamping my foot as I really, really don’t want to go back to the chaos and ridiculous management style that is the new owners. The plan was to go with DH to take DD back to uni city, as his navigational skills are….poor, shall we say. She has decided to stay another night so that he will have to go it alone tomorrow.I’ve been faffing all morning - tidy a bit of a cupboard here, make some soup over there, rehouse some gibble on the way. DD spent all evening sending me links to dressmaking fabric so I feel a spendy day coming on when she emerges.Wm x 1 done, dw running. There goes my flying, I suspect.11 -
Allie - the group for families is Al-Anon.
I have done dailies, walked Poppet, hoovered through and mopped downstairs. Just realised I haven't switched the WM on.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
@Jazee I have wondered how your DH was getting on and am so thrilled to read this. Allie I hope this gives you hope lovely x
Still pouring with rain, I have lit the fire and really must do more paid stuff x11 -
Thanks @Jazee, I will take a look at Al-Anon. Thanks @pigpen and @Asparklierblonde as well. Yes, I am feeling hopeful and it's much appreciated xx10

Very pleased to hear of your DH's progress, Jazee. It's been a long hard road for you both xx
The new battery for my stick thingy arrived this morning, so I installed it, charged it for a bit, and ran it over the downstairs floors without losing power - this of course was the limit of my flying
Earlier I cooked mince and chicken (separately!), sent various emails and made a number of phonecalls, went to the chiropractor again, and after lunch I took Rosie for her walk. Off shortly to collect DGD1+2 from school (so much easier now that they're both at the same one), and we shall be having an early tea before I take them to the school where their dad works for their swimming lessons.
Hoping to get some photos sorted this evening, as the church meeting has been postponed.11 -
STAAAARVING... I am supposed to be going out to eat for my sisters 40th birthday.. but not until 7pm!!!
I need to feed the girls and get myself ready.. it is cold and wet and dark and I'd much rather stay home with my knitting!
