Food cooked and snaffled, pack ups done.. Twinkle staying home tomorrow due to germ spreading in school.. Pixie has nurse appointment.. Dot is being a PITA about AF... I am not sure I am mentally able to deal with that. Squeak has her nerve conduction study on Sunday so I need to locate that letter.. it is... somewhere in here.. *needle in haystack scenario*
I am still trying to deal with the million emails/EHC assessment/MIllion and 10 other things. My sister is 40 tomorrow.. and I need her a balloon.

Morning all
Piggers I am sending you my spare strength vibes. Nerve conduction study - has she had one before? I found that ignorance was bliss with DD, I couldn’t really watch it TBH, thankfully the chap who did it was lovely and calming. Hope you get through some paperwork today xx
YL - you sound shattered. Holding your hand xx
Round - happy Wednesday to you, have a good one x
Dizzy welcome back. I have lots more animals since you last posted, and boggy fields too 🤣
Wide awake at 4am. Given that I only had an hour or so sleep wise the night before 🤯😴 I had been hoping for a good night, alas not to be.
Pouring with rain here, what’s new. I decided (at 4am) to park the idea of getting any more piggies until this weather improves. I am setting myself impossible deadlines, to have my own pork by a certain time, and stressing myself in the process. The worst person for stressing me out is ME. So I’m going to attempt to not do that anymore (famous last words).I’ve just woken DD who looks exhausted and hormonal. I’m going to make a cuppa, unload the DW then make a start on the day x11 -
Morning my lovelies xx
I survived yesterday- the thought was worse than the deed. I had a steady day catching up with emails and tasks, then called in to see Pops on my way home, before coming in and flumping in front of Mark Harmon 🤤 and GBBO on +1.
Today I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and I'm supping a brew. Back to Groundhog Day!
Hope you all have a good day. Valli - your trip brought back a memory from when I used to help out at the village primary school. A trip to the panto with Reception Class. What could go wrong? Just me a 3 x lovely little boys in my row. One buried his face in my side at the first bang on stage, and stayed there. One very quickly scrambled onto my knee for safety (probably wouldn't be allowed now), the third seemed OK until I felt something pushing against my legs - he was trying to crawl our of the row. So I sat him on my other knee. And when we got back to school I asked the teacher if she'd done it on purpose 🤣. No. At least they were sat upright. The little girl in front of me sat upside down for most of the show. I left her to it. She was quiet and I had my hands full trying to keep three little boys from bolting. Thank you for that memory 😊

Morning all.
Welcome back Dizzy. Good luck with the job app Choosy. Valli - garlic bread, you mean garlic and bread!
And Round, I won't be relaying your story to DH as he has volunteered to chaperone the school children to a panto next month.
And I think it was Allie who mentioned her DHs struggle with alcohol last week and I've been pondering whether to reply. Fly ladies who've been here a long time will know of my DHs struggle too. He was functioning and holding down a really stressful job but nearly died four years ago. He'd tried counselling etc and had a fantastic doctor but nothing helped at the time. I think it was the birth of our two grand daughters two years ago that triggered something in him. The longest he'd ever stopped drinking before was six months. Always under duress from me I think now which wasn't ideal. He just announced one day that he wasn't drinking anymore but I had to keep a close eye in case he had a seizure as he was going against doctors orders which was to gradually cut down. He hadn't been able to do that as he just wanted to keep on drinking once he'd had some. Anyway, he didn't have a seizure and he hasn't had a drop of alcohol for almost two years. His health is improving and he now works part time in a job which isn't stressful. We can afford part time because we're not paying for alcohol any more. Some health issues remain but are improving all the time.I hope this shows that it can be done but only when the person is ready themselves. In the meantime there is great support for families of alcoholics, just google.
I have had my first cuppa, going to check banking again then have breakfast. I have a physio appointment today but apart from that can do as I please.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Morning all
Hugs to those who need them.
Did minimal flying in the end yesterday because the weather was so dreadful. I can't clean when it's overcast and pouring with rain because I just don't SEE the dust and muck so it needs doing again when the sun is out. But I did put the DW on, did the Mr T order and tidied the fridges ready for this morning's delivery and baked a loaf of bread.
The sun is shining today so I'm going to do the kitchen bookcase this morning.
The WM is on and I have put my electric wheelchair on to charge which it desperately needs.
I need to replenish the indoor log store (again!) and get something out of the freezer for dinner tonight.
Might even go and collect some more pine cones from the garden for kindling this afternoon.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
