Morning all.  Hope you're well.

Positive work vibes going out to Round and YSL today.  I find if someone lies I call them out on it but phrase it as "I think you were mistaken....." It doesn't necessarily improve the relationship with them but they know you can't be walked all over.

 I still have eight days off so will do whatever I'm going to do at snail's pace today.

Tantalising Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room

Level One...
Clean floors - done
Level Two...
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or new mutations in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc


Extra Mission

• 30 minutes ironing.
• Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
• Hike through the freezer and make a list of what you have, especially as Christmas is getting closer and you will need the space for all those lovely goodies - already started

My list for today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Do uni classes
Do some reading for uni
Attend interview
Put the new curtains up in the bedroom
Submit expenses claim for work
Wash up the dishes, dry and put away
Wipe down the worktops. 
Do some exam revision for uni (4 weeks to go)
Get fuel in the car.
Do paid stuff
Drive to location for work meeting tomorrow (free hotel for the night so can't really complain)
Tidy the pile of uni work that is sitting in the corner of the living room. 
Do preventative treatment for the cat
Make a start on ordering festive food (Note to self - this really needs to get done as running out of time)
Order animal feed and bedding.

Think that is everything that I need to get done today, I best get started as it's going to be a busy day. Hope everyone has a good/productive Tuesday

@pigpen good news about the -ve test...
@Valli hugs about your Mum, it must be a worry.

Kitchen day today I see.
Mine is mostly up to scratch but I think I will make it my job to empty the bookcase in there that's full of cookery books, give it a good clean (there's bound to be cobwebs behind it) and then dust the books before putting them back.
Also need to do the Mr T order for delivery tomorrow.

Me again.

 I have got banking and admin up to date. I always worry particularly with unexpected expenses like new tyre at weekend and a 400 mile round trip to visit MIL in hospital, but all is ok with finances, car and MIL.  I think my anxiety around this comes from times past when we were over £50k in debt.

 I have also put clean covers on the sofas and washed up the breakfast dishes.

I have shiny new taps.  So pleased about that - and it's a Toots list job ticked off - finally.  

Emptied DW, WUALTD.

Deleted over 2000 emails from work email folder - a mindless task but no point saving them.

Morning all,
Coping hugs for you and your DD, Valli x I hope the work day goes better than feared for Round and YL.
Up early to take DH to the hospital, the long way round as the direct road is closing for 2 days “some time this week”, according to the road sign. Well that’s helpful then. Read a bit more of my book with a cuppa when we got back then decided that I really ought to get a wiggle on. 

Wm x 1 done, no TD here so it is hanging in the DR. Ultimate flying undertaken - bathroom blinds cleaned. Disgusting. Then decided that I ought to s&s the bathroom while I was at it. I’ve got some bread dough mixed now, with one eye on the window for the Mr M delivery. He is going to get drenched just walking up the path.

Valli.. if you get 5 minutes send me a wave! I have twinkle off school tomorrow.. second round of spreading flu through the school so she is missing another day.. I might take her to do something vaguely educational .. she has a blue coat with shiny unicorns and I have a rainbow zebra walking stick.. feel free to say hi! We may not get there with various other appointments

I have presents to wrap for Miss Squizz.. and my sister needs a birthday balloon for tomorrow so I may have to sort that today. Presents and paper located.. where the heck is the tape?

Sort a 'gift voucher' thing for Moomin for her birthday on Saturday.. I booked her nails and eyesplashes for next week.

I have advent calendars for everyone except OH and myself.. There don't seem to be any cheap nes anywhere this year they are all really expensive.

Back again.

 I had a daytime bath, put dry washing away, dusted surfaces in bedroom, changed bedding, hoovered through.  I also walked Poppet.  The plan was to put up posters but ended up tidying the Memorial garden after the high winds yesterday.  Got back just before the rain recommenced.

As I'm off work I'm relaxing for rest of day.
