  • If you are wanting to go clothes shopping, can you budget some money and hit the charity shops? It's about getting the most for your money right now, so absolutely trade in your expensive bags for cheap replicas.

I have had fake lashes for nights out, and I found using a pair of tweezers helped me get them in the right place, and some eyeliner and mascara to blend it all in a bit better. I love being able to have a totally different look from day-to-day me so that it feels special when I make the effort.

Thank you so much for popping in guys. I think I have confused you about the lashes, I have not been using the lashes since January but really miss them :)

I definitely do not want to spend £40/ £55 twice a month and will definitely try the self adhesive for my event in November.

Had my haircut £40 and no other spends today :)

No spend day on Friday and today. Apart from £10 lunch top up for sons school dinners. Food shop was expensive as I bought few bottles of wine to fill up the wine rack. Last time I topped it up was end of May so not bad.

Got my replica item and it’s awful, really wouldn’t recommend. Perhaps because I had a real one but I can really tell the difference.

Holding off spending money really want to get to grips with it. It’s so hard as I seem to have so many “wants”!! Want to focus on health and fitness, went for a long dog walk today :)

Got my second replica item and it’s very good. So I think it’s a bit of a gamble what you get and there’s different levels of quality. This one was from a link on tik tok who reviewed it and I’m happy :)

Also yesterday used a new mascara and was very happy with my lashes :) Will go back to putting oils on them to try and grow the natural ones a bit more.

The first replica I don’t know if I can return as its postage cost would probably be high. Also there’s nothing wrong with it I’m just fussy as I can tell it’s fake. Whereas the new bag I got genuinely looks good. It’s canvas type so doesn’t have to be real leather which makes a difference I think.

I work for a fraud prevention team for a financial instition be very very careful with buying items from tiktok.

Could you not say open a saving account and say gradually build it up and buy the real mccoy every once in a while. I go to the gym i know its sad but my go to is Adidas sports gear or 2xu stuff i always save for it off survey earnings/cashback/ziffit sales/receipt app earnings etc etc then at least when I treat myself k dont feel guilty

I won’t buy anymore.. I think it was a crazy panic type buy after selling my beloved genuine items. But at least I have something i did like but similarly it could have just wasted the money. Plus like you say might be subject to fraud. And it’s unethical :(
  • It's done now just draw a line and move on, just make sure you don't impulse buy from TT again. Personally I found the quality to be poor of the bag my friend got me from there. The strap broke after a few days.
