    Spending diary:

Week 1 - £15.35 travel to work and lunch
                   £38 evening out
£25.85 few shopping bits in primark and small present for friends child
£15.30 local day out and lunch

Total - £109.70 over my allowance of £100 a week and also had spending earlier in the week before restarting my diary. I can do better!

Tomorrow will be a no spends day. I have deducted the excess from my week 2.

    Personal account £268.90

Week 2 - £68.90 I also have evening out planned but will have quiet following weeks so hopefully will catch up with the budget.
    Week 3 - £100
    Week 4 - £100

    Food shop - 400
    week 1 - 100 coming tomorrow = £101.38
    week 2 - 100
    week 3 - 100
    week 4 - 100

Also I forgot about my CC payment due by 3rd July which comes out of my personal account (I pay £50, minimum is £36) but it will come out from my next wage.

I'm not sure how many you are shopping for?  Food at £100. a week suggests two adults and one child.

Travel to work is an essential, only you know the best/cheapest cost for that however try to take food with you if possible.

If you find that you are missing your budgets more than you are hitting them perhaps look at your figures and see if they are genuinely a realistic figure.

Thank you for popping in peb. Yes we are two adults, one teen, dog and cat.

I spend between £5-£10 on lunch at work so definitely need to look into taking packed lunch!

There is quite a saving to be made there by taking a packed lunch to work.

WFH can really help in not popping out to the shop at lunchtime!
I agree if the budget doesn't work you may need to review, food prices in particular are not great though petrol seems to be going down

Another no spend day but I’m getting a bit restless. Might have to go to the office tomorrow so will be medium spend. My friend cancelled the evening out so no extra spending :)

I have decided that any unspent £ from the week will go half to interest baring CC and half on rebuilding my savings.
