My diabetic, practically tee total OH got a vodka shot drinking game off his mother this year. I got a bag which I cannot begin to describe the uglyness of it, it is covered in brass studs and is comepltly vile!

I also got one of those tops that old ladies wear with the brass buttons with anchors on. I'm 23.

My worst one off MIL would be the felt santa mobile phone cover from poundland one year. We always dread her presents.

i spat with laughter just then :o :rotfl:

My MOTHER bought me a 'thingy' that you can make your own squirty cream and a box of spare gas bombs to go with it. That was it! I just dont get it, its not like I have cream on everything, in fact prob only buy one tin of the stuff per year. WEIRD that after 43 years she still hasnt got a clue about me.

Is your Mum an avid Lakeland fan as they were selling these this year in the Xmas catalogue and they have a way of making everything seem very attractive.she must think a lot of you to pay as much as she did for your present.

This isn't a really pointless present, but it was one I didn't want! We went to my inlaws this christmas and stopped there for a few days. They got me a compilation authors story book, I forget some of the authors but one of them was Jeffrey Archer. I wondered why they gave it to me but when I looked inside they'd put £50 in cash - to get something I really wanted I presume! :D Anyway, when we came to go, we loaded up the car with all the kids presents and all our luggage and I 'accidently' forgot the book as 'there wasn't room for everything in the car' and 'they can bring it to us next time they see us' - I only remembered that the book was c**p, I forgot about the money!! Now I've got to wait till they come over next - before I can have the money. Still, stops me spending it I suppose! :rotfl:
I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderful

  • Not the worst present but a bit confusing.
My In-laws gave me Chocolate coffee liquers - I don't drink coffee!
You would think after 20 years they would know this.
I also got money and a craft knife set hubby told them to get.
