I'm not so bothered about the apps as such, but it would be nice if Loughborough BS could come up an app, or at the very least online banking.

I'm not so bothered about the apps as such, but it would be nice if Loughborough BS could come up an app, or at the very least online banking.

Online servicing is on the way, no app announced tho.

Can't pay in by debit card on the app sadly.

It was the West Brom agm last week. Held at the Black country museum. It's in my area and I had intended to go but missed it. Wished I hadn't now.

Members were warmly invited to explore the Black Country Living Museum in the afternoon.

I wonder whether any other society offers  'perks' at its agm

I've only ever got free tea or coffee......there might have been biscuits, I dont remember.

No longer the case but Youngs AGMs were good fun. Free beer until it ran out once the formal business was concluded. Any shareholder daft enough to try and ask a question was roundly booed for delaying the drinking.

BOE base rate cut from 4.25% to 4%.

4 voted for a cut to 4%, 4 voted to hold at 4.25%, 1 voted for a cut to 3.75%.

Needed to vote twice to arrive at the decision so was in the balance.
Next vote 18 Sept. The way things are going with inflation rates may have bottomed out
