General Discussion and Whimsical Banter

Just saw someone has "Bowlhead Rip" at the bottom of their post.
I've looked him up and not much to be found.
Was he banned, chose to leave, or has he actually died?

We also still don't have an ISA thread.

Thanks for answering. Are his old posts still visible on old threads? Thank goodness I had the foresight to screenshot particularly important ones. At least he isn't actually dead!
Does he post on any other websites?
What a shame to lose a valuable contributor.

Although I'm not criticizing the mods (they have a very difficult job to do) I sometimes wonder what the [deleted] user did, we have lost so many. It seems to happen to the best of us.4 -

We also still don't have an ISA thread. If someone has a quick question about security I don't see why they can't use this thread for that purpose. I'd rather err on the side of inclusivity. If you're talking about Cash ISAs there is already a thread over in the ISAs sub-forum. But if you mean Stocks & Shares ISAs, I'm not sure if there would be much utility in a dedicated thread for them given it's not a simple product - which is probably why the ISAs sub-forum is full of threads about particular questions around them.Baldeagle095 said:Perhaps we should have a Fixed Rate Bonds thread. However if you want a list of fixed rate accounts Moneyfacts is by far the best internet site.
