Please give him very best wishes from everyone here at SPC especially being so close to Christmas!! 🌲🌟

Well folks, my darling hubby took DD and DGD, her fiance and their treasure of a darling 3yr old son to Bristol Maternity hospital on Tuesday. They took another scan which shows their unborn daughter to be stable! 😯 Thank goodness, but they'll need to go again on Friday and see what the fluids like then.

However, our DD rang this morning in tears because she's tested positive for Covid and was worried she may have passed it on to her dad. We calmed her by telling her what's meant to be is...!  She sounds very poorly, poor sweetheart!! DGD rang A little while ago her DGD rang to say she had quite possibly given it to her as she's sure she had it a couple of weeks ago!! What happens now we don't know so we'll just have to wait and see, but like as not T & I will get it, but it's just one of those things. 😵‍ :)

Enjoy your Thursday, Friday too even....if it's WET!!! :s

Crikey @Sue-UU you’ve had a right time of things by the sound of it. Good to hear that the signs are much more positive now. When I had covid I reckon my voice was deeper than Barry White’s! As you say of we’re meant to get the dreaded covid we will get it.

Well @MrsShazbat that’s definitely great news about your husband. There are some gifts that money just can’t buy

Sue-UU, that's such a relief for everyone 😊 Unfortunately, covid is part of our lives now and although nobody likes being poorly, hopefully, the vaccine has helped stop it being so severe. Take care of yourselves xxx

Hello Potters, I hope you've all have a good week, although if you're anything like us we've been totally flooded!!! :s
Enjoy the very best of the weekend whatever the weekend.
For all those feeling poorly or down in anyway, the very best wishes from us all at SPC <3

We definitely have Ant, not out of the woods either. That's why DGD has to go up there so often as the fluid can come back so quickly! It'll be a worry until the little treasure is delivered as they still can't find out the reason for the fluid being there.
We've still got our fingers 🤞 today as another scan is being done. She'll have to do that twice a week until the birth. It shows how rare it is as the Consultant has only ever had 3 like it before.

Thanks for the giggle about Barry White, I remember you having yours so poorly. Our DD had Covid a while ago, we're sure it hits her so quickly because of her immune system being so low due to her MS which has been quite rough for the last few months. It concerns us a lot as she's on the strongest medication possible! It's a real worry as she was only supposed to be on it for a year, as the year was up in August the Consultant said he'd try her on infusions every 6 weeks instead of every 4!! Frightening as she tested positive for a nasty brain disease which can be fatal!! 😥

Very well done on your coins potted!!!

Hi Siju, only a relief for the day, as it could all happen again any day! It tells you all about it in Ants first paragraph.
I quite agree re the jabs, but even that frightens me after us all having had so much!

Enjoy your WEEKEND folks too even....if it's WET ONE!!! s

                                                                                      LATEST BABY UPDATE

Today's scan shows a lot of fluid on baby's lungs and heart again.

Consultant says baby can't wait any longer so DGD is having a Pre Op this afternoon  ready for a Caesarian on Tuesday. The Consultanteven spoke to DD and assured her that after 5 days a Covid sufferer isn't half as contagious so DD with mask can go to Bristol to be with them!

On Monday DGD goes to Yeovil Hospital to have a Steroid Injection into baby's lungs. Then DGD either goes straight to Bristol or comes home,  then back to Bristol on Tuesday morning.
    Best wishes
    Sue xxx
