Just checking in, I've been steadily potting change from ds activity every week and made concerted effort to withdraw cash weekly and tap my card less so have change in my purse more often. 🙃 Still no effort made on my end to clear out the outgrown/unloved clothes mound. 5 bin bags and counting. Where does a menopausal woman find motivation ? I seem to have misplaced mine some time back 😆

So very many grateful thanks to you all for your very kind wishes, thoughts and prayers!
Our
DGD has been through so very much during the last 4 or 5. More fluid in the
lungs and heart when she went up on Tuesday, so Consultant said she had to stay in and have her Caesarian anytime during the day. However, there weren't enough incubators so she was told to stay overnight and,...fingers crossed (their words said DD) have the op from 9.00 onwards this morning or be transferred. Then it would be in 2 hours...then there was an
emergency so DGD waited. Then at 16.10 DGD was taken down for her op and at 5:05 their darling baby girl was born weighing in at 6lb 3oz!!!
THANKYOUALLSOVERYMUCHINDEED!!!
Enjoy your Thursday folks

A very happy Monday to you all I hope you had a wonderful weekend whatever you did. and a very good week in the run up to Christmas!
To all those who are poorly or feeling low in any way, take care of yourselves and very best wishes from us all at SPC. ❤️
Very many thanks Hetty, such very kind words.
So very many thanks for your words and congratulations Ant.
Very many thanks indeed Siju.
Sadly,
the Drs say she/they'll still be in over Christmas, but they'd pretty much resolved
themselves to that because of their little treasure's condition and what
they'd already been told during the run up to the pregnancy, but fingers 🤞!! Although, we'd all far sooner she stay in hospital. Also there are still some results
to come back from tests taken a little while ago.
They
took 3 litres of fluid from DGD on Thursday and 18 (something or others)
🤨 (I'm not into metric) from baby also on Thursday! No wonder our DGD
looked sooo big this time around!!
The little
treasure is still in intensive care with tubes running from her stomach
to collect any more fluid, the other is to feed her with mum's expressed
milk.
Yesterday her mum was able to have her first cuddle!!
Not
dad sadly, but apparently it's all to do with scent as from Wednesday
on after the birth they put special gloves on baby and a piece of cloth on DGD. They
swapped them over every couple of hours. It's amazing and makes perfect
sense.
They've now put a CPAP (a special tube over her nose much different than the other) on to aid her breathing.
DGD,
her fiance and their 3 yr old little boy have an en-suite room to stay.
DGGS insists that her name is coconut!!! 🥥 DGD says it's definitely
NOT, but they had originally asked him which names they should call her,
I think that's a fault of asking a 3 yr old!!
Our daughter & SIL went to visit again today, then the phone after coming home. DGD also sends photos by messenger, the wonders of this technological world! I'm rambling...!
Thanks so very much indeed Lost very kind indeed
