Hope all went well for your DGS @Sue-UU and he's recovering. That's quite enough drama for the year now, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that life will be less stressful for you and your family from now on 💕
We're away for a week so popping another five pounds in the pot before we go and I'll check in next weekend. Keep safe and well 😘

A very good Monday folk, I hope you've all had a very good weekend, and will enjoy the week ahead
Whatever you do, wherever you live do please be careful, especially on the roads or pavements. Try to keep warm, not easy I know.
To all those who are poorly or feeling low, I really do hope you're soon feeling much better. Love and best wishes from us all. 3

Good for you having potted during your decluttering, CMD79!!

    Very well done PurplePhoenix62!

Thanks so much, Siju the reason he was was in the operation theatre was due to the appendix being embedded into the bowel and with his blood condition they had to work very carefully to remove it. He was released on Friday and is still on antibiotics because of the bowel entanglement.
He's unable to lift anything heavier than a cup during the next month! 😯A bit difficult being as he's at college!
Enjoy your time away and great work with potting first!

Oh wouldn't that be wonderful Ant. Now we've both got colds contracted via our 2 yr old granddaughter, bless her.
In all honesty though Ant, we have to bear in mind that there are thousands out there suffering a whole lot more than us, poor souls.

Have a very good week folks, but do keep as warm as possible

    Sue

    Hi lovely people!

I have scraped together some shrapnel, added in my birthday money, and before I could change my mind, added £45.77  :#

Future me will thank me, though I easily could have bought more notepads I don't need with the birthday money!!

  • #041 checking in, finally had some change to add. So another £3.01 added, making total now £4.20. Not mounting up quickly, but then I don't really have much cash around and am doing other savings challenges online, so this one is just a little extra one. Even if I can manage a few ££ a month, it will all add up to some nice holiday spending money.
    hope everyone else is ok

Hello SPCers you've all had a very good weekend, and will enjoy the week ahead

    Absolutely brilliant potting CMD79!!!
You're definitely right in that you will be so very pleased with yourself, proud too of saving money that you would otherwise have spent!!! 👏
Belated birthday greetings to you for whenever your birthday was. 😀

Well done with another £3 potted Ant. It keeps on adding up!
I've no doubt there are a lot of folk that were, and still are being brought up with that saying Ant, mostly because it's just downright true.
Another saying the family had was about not being a worrier "you'll die if you worry, you'll die if you don't, so if it's unable to help - don't worry about whatever it is"!
True too, although it depends what you worry about. In my and T's case we always worry about our children and theirs, and that's natural of us all. Enjoy your day Ant. 😀

£10 transferred from our account to SPC account.

Very well done Makingaboro2, whatever you manage to put in the pot is so very much better than quite possibly being spent!!
If you're saving any money, no matter whether it's cash, notes or via the bank, or hear on Money Saving Challenges you're still more than able to include your totals here on SPC. be proud of whatever you save, so much better than spending!

Enjoy the rest of today and Friday week folks, but do keep as warm as possible
