Definitely KK, since making the decision I’ve felt so much better in myself.Dropped shopping off at my in laws as mil fell again and is in huge amounts of pain. Then nipped to the plot to harvest a cabbage and some rhubarb for my best friend, who in turn took me out for lunch and remarked how well I looked. How relaxed I seemed.Wheelchair services unable to replace tyres as they brought the wrong ones 🤦♀️
Quick trip to plot again to water and harvested asparagus, which I blanched and froze.Love 🐞

I hope things go better for your MiL. Has she been checked over? It must make a big difference that you are able to help her with shopping.
It's great to hear you're feeling better and more relaxed. It sounds as though the time has come to move forward, and it's amazing that this potential place has come up at just the right time.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

It been a long week so far. The youngest has been to see the dr and they have diagnosed mild depression so given some medication and advised to reduce anxiety meds slowly. Youngest has decided to use the money their great grandmother left them to pay for counselling rather than wait 9months for nhs. Unable to leave them on their own at the moment due to potential side effects ( they had painful muscle spasms the other day which freaked them out). However nothing since then, so hopefully that was it.Plot is ticking along just need some 🌧️.Love 🐞

D’you think the depression might explain some of their recent behaviour.I think youngest is getting wise if that’s what they are spending their inheritance on - sad that they have to, but I’m glad they have the option.Totally with you on needing some 🌧️!

I think it explains a lot of the behaviour KK, the youngest has done a couple of workshops online around their issues and I suspect this has been going on awhile, but the anxiety has been addressed first. The dr ( not had this one before) said the anxiety should start to subside as the medication takes effect. Fantastic dr totally understood the youngest, did tell the youngest that they were lucky they could pay for counselling (not sure they should have said that) and felt they were doing the right thing prioritising their mental health.Trying to decide whether to go to the plot or not. OH trying to fix the loo, but he’s not very good at diy. Now felling a tree, identifying a bird etc he’s spot on.
Hey ho

Lots done planted beetroot supplied from plot neighbour, sweetcorn and french beans. OH mounded up the potatoes and tided up the strawberries area. Moved some more seedlings into the cold frame. Still lots to do up there . Hopefully the waterbutts will have filled abit after the heavens opened.Tea was leftovers.

Water butts not filled but there is some water. Hopefully we’ll have more rain. That way my plot neighbour and half sibling won’t have to trail up and down to the tap when they look after it next week. Finally got the last few berry plants netted. Toms potted on just need dad’s green house moving and then they can go in. Glass moved and more cardboard laid. I don’t usually do no dig but the ground has been so hard and I’ve had spare soil from a project that it’s spared my back from potential pain from digging rock hard soil.Right starting to rain so best head home
