Ah, I see now ladybird. It's brilliant they are getting more independent but when things change gradually, it's hard to keep track so your thoughts about monitoring it are very sensible.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

It certainly is cherryfudge.Application form is in, just a case of waiting and visioning.Been to dads as I needed to sort out more paperwork and financial stuff. Managed to get rid of some mobility aids, did keep a shower chair as might be useful in the future. Bought some useful items home too. What I need to investigate is whether house clearance places, charge to just empty or whether they will buy decent stuff. Another problem for another day.
Tea is risotto with leftover squash. The youngest had chicken curry (chicken reduced by £4)

Yesterday was a prep day for the weekend. I made lentil and mushroom bolognaise for tea last night, added kidney beans, sweetcorn and chilli to the leftovers for tea tonight and made chickpea, spinach and squeaky cheese curry for tomorrow tea. Looking forward to getting to the yha and relaxing. Bought 2 books (£2) from a charity table to take with me. Just need to pack.

Had a lovely weekend away despite the weather. It was nice to treat ourselves instead of totting up what stuff costs etc. Although it’s back to frugaling to build up a new EF and getting my private pension up and running.Dads house has been valued, half sibling just needs to move their stuff out. It’s an ongoing battle but it’s slowly filtering out.
Another tc from the youngest, another issue with their chair which I had to go and sort at college. No news about the job yet, closing date was only Sunday though 🤣. Waiting to be seen by chiropractor.

I cant imagine having to do the sort out of stuff - currently eyeballing my own in case I have to move quickly in the new yearDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Frugalness for yesterday
