Not been 100% the last couple of weeks, so dr appointment yesterday and they are sending me for a variety of tests. Probably either menopausal or ibs related but they are checking other possibilities.Had a quiet and relaxing day yesterday, heat mat on my back helped loads and new mattress topper has helped lots . My joints are no longer aching in a morning and sleep has slightly improved.
Bathroom is gradually being done. Repotted and spilt some plants. Hoovered the extractor fan. Fixed one of many issues with the shower door. Today hopefully I’ll be able to sort issue number 2 out ,also sugar soap the walls and sort out the grout mank( will need to google this).Shopping yesterday was minimal about £32 as we are still eating lots of the plot and out the cupboards/freezer.
Right time for my slow plod with miss giddychops

Been a super busy day.
Cleaned the manky grout with a paste made from bleach and bicarbonate of soda. I didn’t think it would work but after an hour and half it worked. Really 😁Long trip to the plot. Sowed more green manure, and some Asian salad leaves. Took out the indoor cucumbers 🥒 and moved several lots of seedlings, over wintering 🧅 and potted on the winter cauliflowers as the greenhouses are still full. Pruned excessive growth on the 🍅,hopefully they will concentrate on ripening now. Harvested mint( frozen), sweetcorn🌽 (blanched/ frozen/ some used in chilli) winter lettuce( salad tonight)tomatoes🍅 ( roasted and added to salad), carrots🥕( added to veggie chilli/ lasagna) , courgettes ( added to veggie chilli/ lasagna/cake), cucumber🥒 (salad), beetroot and potatoes🥔Several meals made and used lots of pots and pans. Dishwasher on again.Altered the youngest’s new pjs. That’s it for todayLove 🐞

Busy weekend, only money spent was on cheese(vital in this house) and green manure seeds.Lots of work done at the plot. Majority of the potatoes are up, so sown green manure. Hopefully this will stop some of the soil erosion from the rain (our plots are on a slope). Transplanted donated salad leaves from 2 of our plot neighbours. Apparently they are Italian type lettuces and when mature the leaves can be cooked like spinach but isn’t as bitter. Had to net them as the pigeons like the young leaves. Started harvesting the squash and pumpkins. Think I may have to give some away as there is too many for us to eat. Started harvesting the conference pears as we’ve finished the Williams. More damaged apples made into crumbles and dried apples.Attempted to use natures tumble dryer yesterday but we were 10 minutes late getting home and it was soaked again. Left it out there, so it been wash by natures washing machine again. Very blowy this morning so hopefully it will dry before the deluge coming later.
Yoga done, 3 in a row. Definitely helping with my ibs symptoms. Even though I know it helps I find it really hard to get up an hour earlier 😴. Anyway it’s done. The youngest is going back to college today even though they swore they would never darken their doors again. 🤞it goes well and the course is interesting.Best get the wheelchair 🦽 in the car.

The washing did dry eventually on the line. Not managed to get any more out though.
Been to the plot a couple of times. Weeds are coming through thick and fast since the rain. I wasn’t planning on winter digging, but the weeds are small enough to be smothered in soil, if I just turn it over. Just doing the areas that still have produce in as it’s too wet to hoe it off. The other areas with be covered in weed suppressant. We have a long list of winter jobs to do, mainly maintenance work. Still harvesting cucumbers and courgettes, I’ll be sad but glad to see them finished.Youngest first day went well but predictably they started with earache last night, so we will see what happens Thursday morning.I’m at the drs for a follow up appointment regarding tests this afternoon.Apparently my liver function results are slightly outside of range, so will see what they have to say.
Dad’s house is still ongoing, this has been very stressful and does not encourage me to want to move anytime soon.Raining here again

I have a lot of sympathy for you as you sort out your Dad's house. I had similar when clearing and selling my parents' house: a massive job and in the end, with the agreement of the buyers, we had to leave a lot for them to clear. Apparently that's something that some people suggest to move a sale along, and it helped for us.
As for cucumbers and courgettes, if they would only invent a cucumber that freezes, it would be a game changer. Do you pickle them?
I hope youngest's earache turns out to be something and nothing.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Only thing I liked pickled cherryfudge is baby pickled onions and then that’s only once in a blue moon.Rained put off play at the plot yesterday , so only went up to harvest tea . We had roasted tomatoes and feta on toast. Also picked spinach and carrots for tonight’s veggie curry.
I’ve got a dr appointment this afternoon to discuss blood results. Everything is clear except liver results that are just outside the boundary of normal. I suspect a lecture on diet, weight and alcohol. I rarely drink these days due to ibs, I don’t eat meat but I do eat a lot of carbs. Gluten free pastas etc contain a lot of sugar. I am overweight and exercise has greatly reduced due to miss giddychops getting old. My stress levels for years have been elevated and at the moment I got constant migraines due to the ongoing situation with my half sibling/dad’s house. Hopefully my brain and willpower will take this onboard and allow me to do what I need to improve my health. I have started using EFT techniques to reduce my stress levels.Right time to plod with miss giddychops.Love 🐞

Dr seen, new blood tests booked for in a month’s time to check levels again, referral for a scan on liver. Referral to ENT regarding tinnitus getting worse.Been to the plot as OH has decided to become a member and has got a half plot. Harvested more courgettes and cucumbers plus carrots, apples and a pumpkin
Other than that not a lot to report

Boring day. Waited in for a parcel after text to say it would be arriving before 1:15pm. It didn’t got another text at 4pm to say it would arrive before 7:15pm when nobody would be in the house😒, because I had to take the youngest to Meadowhell as the fruit headphones weren’t working properly or connecting to fruit pad😤. Got there and we totally chose the wrong day as people were queuing for the new fruit phone and would have to wait 90minutes to see one of their supposedly geniuses🤬. After 2 hours of sitting people watching I had another look at them ( I had already attempted to sort them at home but I’m not very tech savvy) and got them to work 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Queue us making a rapid retreat to the car. They texted us half way home to say they were ready to see us. A tech savvy friend later sent me instructions of what to do if it happens again ( copy and pasted under the youngest name in my phone). Feels like yesterday was a waste of effort getting up🤪.
