Am I missing something with Halifax Rewards?

I usually did this during working hours but I dont think that mattered .
Not sure if it still works but will find out in a few days when the tracker updates .
It still works. Same with Club Lloyds min £2000 for fee waiver. Presume it's the same for the BOS Vantage Interest (not that anybody should be bothering with that any more).

If this was the case, why did your tracking information not say "you've not held your balance above £5k"B0bbyEwing said:Oh they've finally responded.
The account is somehow marked as requiring £5000 & is why I didn't receive the £5.
Interesting because I was very careful in my selection as I didn't want to click £5000 balance in error when I meant to click spend £500 - so I know what I've selected.
So either I want them to change this or I'll be raising a complaint as I know what I selected & it isn't a case of "you must've accidentally...".
instead of you've not spent £500 etcBecause the tracker is wonky, by which I mean it isn't as 'connected' to whatever actually processes the rewards, hence the huge delays and the behaviours I've mentioned before. I honestly would prefer it if Halifax got rid of the feature because it causes more problems than it solves IMHO.I'm not excluding the possibility of a system error which caused this to happen but this is the first such instance I've seen reported on here of this happening (selected 'spend £500', system recorded 'keep £5000'). The fact this has happened on several accounts which the @B0bbyEwing manages on other peoples behalves leads me further to be more inclined to believe this is more likely a repeated user error on @B0bbyEwing 's part rather than a system error.Luckily (for @B0bbyEwing) the shonky tracking should be cause enough for a complaint, but I'd be very cautious about submitting complaints at the same time for 5 people's accounts as this could well raise eyebrows.

Is there a way in online banking, be it app or computer, to find out what your account is marked as having chosen (for example, £5 with £500 spend, £5 with £5000 balance, cinema tickets etc etc)?
And also the renewal date for the reward?
After today's experience with the chat, I want to limit asking customer service as much as possible so if there's a way I can cross reference dates to make sure I've not messed up myself, even though I don't think I have, then that'd be great.1 -

Thanks for the helpful responses.
I'll take a look at that as well as for the other people who have accounts I help to manage & see whether the issue is at my feet or Halifax's.
My own issue seems to be resolved. For some months I hadn't renewed (fair enough) but other months I had & should've been earning. I'm going to earn from now on (allegedly) and they're giving me a goodwill payment if I close the complaint now.0 -
My £5 has only gone into 1 of my 3 accounts this month, they usually go in on 12th month, my trackers on all 3 accounts show as "on track" so i will be submitting a formal complaint rather than letting a C.S rep tell me a load of nonsense.0

The "on track" you see now is irrelevant for this months payment as it relates to this month (+ a fourish day drift). Did you meet the requirements last month? Did you miss a month due to a renewal?

No need to search for emails, "track your rewards" via website ( I do not use apps so cannot comment on that)B0bbyEwing said:Thanks for the helpful responses.

The OP was looking for something other than the tracker, which we are told had inconsistent data when compared with what their system had recorded with the actual choice.0
