No need, if Elms were definitely dropped.

Do not help a floundering PPC out.  I hear he's only back (this month only, we think) covering for 'the other guy' who has also left!

From what I was told from a reliable whistleblower, it seems Excel & VCS appear to currently have no permanent staff who know how to cobble together court stuff...

...let's get out that tiny violin.

  • Oh what a shame, I've put in so much work and they don't seem to be invested at all. Oh well, their loss etc.

I suppose its easier to scare people into paying than it is to actually do their job. I'll report back with how things go. I'm trying not to be overly confident. Could always catch a judge on a bad day i suppose.

In the meantime is there anything i could do to help repay the invaluable help I've received from you guys on this forum?

Could I ask you to consider supporting this

So many people don't receive 1st and/or 2nd pcn but the £170 payment due letter often manages to drop through letter boxes. PPCs always claim discounted rate/full rate pcns/court claim letters were sent as dated though they offer no evidence to prove this.

Since they CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting we must continue to press gov to ensure they do and see it included in the new Parking CoP. Please sign/share @jmccabe petition closes 22nd june 2024.

Require communications from Private Parking companies to be traceable/trackable

Thank you. Hope your 1st court defence is a win.

Having just read @AbbatheHorse thread, I've realised I've failed to attach a cost assessment to my WS.

Can i write one up and send a supplementary email to the local court?

If so where should i be looking for information about what i can include? I.e. a 2 hour round trip and a days list earnings to collect evidence (photos of the car park)?

I appreciate the bar for unreasonable conduct is high, but I'll ask for as much as i can and let a judge decide.

I had my hearing this morning. The Judge wasn't that interested in the missing white list, instead focusing on the poor photographs of the signs. She agreed with the scant POC and seemed to have disdain for Excel's legal rep.

She caught him shaking his head when she was giving her verdict and proper dressed him down. Serious Anne Robinson vibes.

Anyway, claim dismissed and the Judge quickly shot down the Claimant's attempt at an appeal.

I can't express enough gratitude for all of the help in this forum, i wouldn't have stood a chance without it.

I'll wait for someone to come along to say it...

Congrats on your win. You did it! Did she grant any of your costs for attending?

No she flat out said costs would not be awarded without unreasonable behaviour, which i thought was strange but i didn't want a telling off like the claimant's rep got so i took the win, thanked her and left 🤣

Great to hear you beat the bullies. Pity you didn't get your costs.
