I found out through my credit report that CIVIL NATIONAL BUSINESS CENTRE in Northampton applied the CCJ. Going to try to ring them for claim number.

EDIT: Their automated service said they will not be able to find your case if you don't have a claim number. Useless!

From my previous case, the DPO I communicated with was: dpo@uk-cpm.com. Unless Gladstones has other DPOs, that is the best bet.
Best bet?? That's a losing bet.

The Privacy Policy on Gladstones website clearly spells out the email address of the Data Protection Officer.

To save you looking for it, it's...

    We knew that.

Which is why I advised you what you need to do. Every company has their own DPO.

I didn't say email UKCPM.  They don't have the claim details

It may not even have been UKCPM that was the PPC anyway. All that is known so far (unless I've missed it) is that Gladstones filed the claim (on behalf of their client).

Thanks I e-mailed the DPO. The sooner I get this CCJ aside, the better. But at the same time, when I do get it aside, it's time for another court case battle.

I hate this so much. Greedy feckers who want to ruin people's lives. Now it makes PERFECT sense last month why I got rejected for credit. It's because of this.

Not necessarily now we have CEL v Chan striking claims out.  Your application needs to ask for three things as I posted in a couple of CCJ set aside threads yesterday.

I have no time to look for them but you should.

With a fair wind, it should see the entire claim fail and your money back, first go.

Now that I think about it, it may not even be Gladstones. The reason why I assumed it was because Coupon-mad mentioned Empira is the same group as Gladstones.

Anyway, I looked at my credit report again. I see the case number on there - X2XX714X (replaced the letters with Xs).

Is the case number the same as the claim number?

Will read those thanks, you're a constant help - can't thank you enough especially when I get this CCJ removed.

Empira is part of the Gladstones monster empire (notice the name resemblance?), so it's almost certain that Gs are the solicitors involved.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It's only going to be Gladstones.

I wouldn't have said this otherwise.

Is there a GF in the claim number?
