Cashback from Barclays blue?

Anyone know how much compo we can get for them taking the fee twice? 😉I’m confused on the cash back, I got £10 for October but all I spent was £25 on fuel as I rarely use my Barclays account. Is it that easy??0

I can't understand why it will take them until next week to reverse the extra £5 taken from our accounts

They’re a bank and it’s 7pm on a Friday? I’m sure they will reverse any related charges, I wouldn’t worry about it.ischris85 said:I can't understand why it will take them until next week to reverse the extra £5 taken from our accounts

But they've known about this since the early hours of this morning because when I questioned it with them at 7.30 this morning they admitted there was a problem with double fees being taken. It should have immediately been rectified, next week is simply not good enough, hence why I added this complaint to an earlier complaint about Rewards and got the money immediately refunded, as on principle I don't want my a/c showing as overdrawn and possibly being reported to the CRAs if it coincides with their reporting cycle.alibean121 said:

I haven't signed up for blue rewards cashback, and only one £5 was taken, yesterday. So maybe it's just people who have signed up.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

How did you raise your complaint? Through the app? On the phone? In Branch?
I tried it on the app earlier today, late morning, and got nowhere. They said I already got the refund but then admitted I had not after I said I had not received it.they then promised I would get it "soon" and offered their apologies.

They seem to have their act better together now on the 5% cashback. I spent £200 on Wednesday (1st) and had my £10 sitting in my Rewards Wallet today (4th). I hope everyone else gets their cashback as expected, too.
EDIT: the £10 has now (6th) arrived in my current account. So I am reasonably happy this month with the 5% cashback offer. 2 down, 1 to go

Can confirm. My self assessment bill to HMRC qualified for cashback. Shame it's only once a yearWell I'm hoping to try this financial transaction today or tomorrow
