Morning all,
Thank you for the kind wishes. I had a nice day in the end, finished off with a glass of fizz by the fire. I was asleep by 9.30pm and too tired to read my book so I will treat myself to a chapter now.
Cuppa in bed then I will crack on. DD has a friend over for a couple of hours today and DS will have a PJ day I think. The winds are high and rain is forecast again, there seems to be a real contrast in weather around the country today. There is laundry to do and I am making a huge lasagne for tea. Thankful I froze lots of eggs earlier in the year because our hens aren’t laying much at the moment. That reminds me, they need cleaning out too. Take care all and have lovely days xx
ETA - £13 made on eBay. Nice start to the day xx7 -
Morning all. Planning a mad flurry of activity here, to bring the house to some semblance of order.
bad side effects last night, two loperamide taken but it eased off and i’ve slept well. The house is a pit, though.
Baby cardi sewn up, now needs buttons.
WM x 3 to peg out, DW x1.

Morning all xx
I was in WAC last night so feeling decidedly fluffy round the edges. I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, checked the weather forecast, eaten breakfast and supped two brews.
I survived the week without having a meltdown. Tears threatened once or twice yesterday morning but I held on to my flylady (big girl's) knickers and beat them back. The only thing is I was so focused on making it TO the weekend that I haven't planned FOR the weekend. Think I.may just rest on.my laurels today and recuperate. Zzzzzz
I'll get dressed, that's a start. And I'll take the boxed halogen heater up to RoD2 out of the way until it's required. That's another start.
One step at a time.......
Love to all
Rxx

I'm dressed! I forgot to take up the heater, so I've put it at the bottom of the stairs to remind me the next time I go up. I've also sorted my washing into loads and set first load swishing.
Next step:
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
Feed the birds

Breakfast scoffed, washing on line. rabbit hutch cleaned out and under storey swept out. It’s drying off now, it’ll get another sweep later. Recycling out. bin had blown open and glass bag has been snatched away by the wind, nowhere to be seen. I’ll ask the neighbours if they got it when i see them. light bulb in top oven replaced, last one broke and left metal bit behind so i’ve had to switch off at the mains, and i shoved some blu tack in it to help me access and unscrew metal bit. A definite Toots job. Have brought tools upstairs with the intention of hanging DD’s mirror, when she moves from the sofa.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Hi all
Happy birthday for yesterday ASB. Glad it was a good day, and Round well done for getting through it!
I had to go to a work event last night and was forced to mingle with strangers so slept badly going over everything I said and did wondering if I had made an idiot of myself. Sigh. Volunteering this morning and have been to the supermarket.
I really need to fly but struggling to drag myself off the sofa. This won't do.
The car is filthy and the garden needs weeding. Maybe another cuppa would help.6 -
Hello,
Another house-pit here, but I have been outdoor flying all day.
Did a couple of hours hard labour at the allotment this morning, rewarded with 2 courgettes and about a dozen raspberries. Hardly a fair wage, methinks. I really, truly intended flying this afternoon, but it is sunny, the garden is a mess, and I have some plants that I have gone to the effort of raising from seed, and that are now slowly dying in teeny weeny pots. Plants planted, weeds pulled, some ground actually dug. This is unheard of in the back garden.
Now I am shattered. I have added 3 things to my to do list, and only crossed one off. This is not how it is supposed to work.6 -
The sun is just peeping through here, been overcast all day! I brought in my washing an hour ago. It was mostly dry, so it's finishing off on the airer.
Fan has been put away upstairs.
Settling in ready for Strictly now.
Have a good evening
