Oh one thing I did do that was MSE - I transferred mine and DS1's phones to Lebara via the MSE deal that was up. So that should save a bit of money for us.

  • Oh Twinklie I'm so sorry to read your update. Big hugs to you all. ☹️ It's no wonder you've fallen off the MSE wagon. It happens to most of us when life hits hard. Be kind to yourself ❤️.

Oh and the car was broken - £273 later - 2 new tires and a new ABS sensor and it's all sorted. I'll take that since I was expecting a much higher cost. The MOT is due in January, so it should now sail through that (all being well).

Goodness, what a lot of difficult and emotional life events for you all to cope with.  Survival mode definitely understandable.  Hope you can be gentle with yourself and stick to having a lowish key December whilst you all recover a bit more.

So had a lovely night at my friends last night. There were 6 of us wreath making. Ive never done it before and it was such good fun. I was really proud of my creation…and of myself for socialising. £20 for the wreath making materials. Everyone else was drinking but I took a flask of hot chocolate and stayed sober. I was tucked up in bed by 11pm.

Went to our family exercise class this morning, I nearly died. 😂 Think I’m going to have to go back on steroids. I can only breathe in the top part of my lungs. I don’t seem to be able to get a deeper breath when exercising. It’s very frustrating. But at least collectively we are making use of the membership we bought. And it’s encouraging us to make healthier life choices.

It’s the funeral on Tuesday so I’m a bit anxious about that. DH and his brother have had a big fall out, so I’m hoping things don’t come to a head on the day.

Work is insane with the restructure. I’ve no idea what I want to do yet. I’m just a bit lost. I keep switching between one to another. I genuinely don’t know what I want to do and may cry. Why can’t someone just tell me what to do? I’m not in an adulting mindset.

Need to take the kids to get their feet measured this weekend. DS2 needs new shoes. I think DS1 is okay, but who knows. Could also do to sort out funeral outfits and just confirm what we are wearing. I think we know.

Im just looking forward to finishing for the holidays. I’m exhausted and don’t want to keep on keeping on. I’m tired.
