  • well, put on half a pound this week. Not too bothered TBH because it wasnt anything I did differently so Im assuming its just one of those random things your body does sometime!
Just finished my leave from work and back tomorrow.....Im hoping that I can avoid the christmas cheer (meaning nibbles and sweeties being around!). Usually I have a good excuse being vegan but dieting also works!
  • I'm sts -  basically, I have managed to gain weight this year instead of losing it!! 🙄🤦‍♀️

I'm bowing out of the challenge now as I celebrate winter solstice as opposed to christmas so Friday is my big day and I have relatives coming to stay from midweek so there will be no discipline in my house!! 😂

I'll be joining again in 2024 if you're running the thread again @Brambling (🤞) but will have a more achievable goal - I want to lose 24lb in 2024 so I'll be aiming at 6lb per quarter; May not seem a lot but if it happens and its permanent it's a better thing to aim for 😉

Thank you for all your support and hard work running this thread @Brambling and I hope everyone has a wonderful festive period 🥳

  • Hi

Last few weigh days have STS which I’m pleased with as there’s been calorific drinks, snacking and intermittent fasting has been difficult to do. My step count has increased lots so must be balancing everything out.

  • Well, today's weigh in was STS, and I doubt that's going to change over the next two weeks. I do want to avoid it going up.

I won't meet my target, but I will be joining again next year, and am going to be thinking about whether I need to change how I am tackling this.

Have a good day on Friday Left 🙂 I plan to do 2024 in the hope I actually lose something next year 🙄 I'm spending money on a osteopath due to a painful hip who will benefit more if I was carrying a lot less weight    :| 24lb is just under 2 stone which is a good target to aim for 🙂

Just a STS for me this week which all things considered isn't bad I'm not going to WI next week and will draw a line under this year and start again in January

Same here, I'll try to be as 'good' as possible and hopefully start afresh Jan.

  • Hi
Weigh day yesterday and I wanted to dble check this morning as surprised to be down -2.5lbs. Wasn’t my imagination must be all the extra steps I’ve been doing, triple the usual amount most days this week. Feet too painful to keep that up though long term.

I’m going to skip next weeks wi too Brambling and enjoy the festivities. Merry Christmas everyone.
