Worse bidets don't normally include Sea going swimmers.

Is it a reasonable request for me to cancel the reservation and then re-reserve a flat once construction is complete?  I don’t think those flats are going anywhere in the next 6 months given the current market conditions.

    It's your gamble to make
Or the other option is to ask for a larger incentive than the 0.9% incentive they offered me. To offset the risk.

So what have you decided to do? Pull out? Demand a new loo and 'deep clean' ?

Do you really want to risk your purchase over something that can easily be dealt with?
They have another block they don’t plan to sell until they’ve sold the first block.

Yep first you have mentioned this so indeed. One of our biggest bargains came about in 2009 as the building industry was still sleeping due to the slump £40k off a new house and 10k of extras.

However we are not in that pickle yet building industry appears to be holding up with houses selling. But it's a fine balance all heads down for the interest rate holding or reducing.

For reference We know the builders had a pee in all our sanity wear (all four wet rooms) and worse lol
Do you think we will end up in that pickle?

If you knew half the stuff that goes on a construction site this would be the least of your concerns 🤣🤣

Point it out at your peril as who knows what they might do to your house next.....

As long as it is exchanged and delivered clean and tidy on completion that's all that matters and start your snag list on every visit.
What could be worse than soiling a new building?
Building it to a terrible standard. Cleaning a bathroom is somewhat simpler than sorting out defects in the construction.
It raises the question of what the building standards are like if they allow urinating in new flats to go on.
My partner is a plasterer and they often take a carp in each others buckets for a laugh. In peoples homes. BUT he still takes pride in his work and ensures he cleans before he leaves. Hopefully they construction company will do the same
