  • Flexible too.
Yeah, cheers but nah, I will stick with yes,  thank you and no.

    Thank you.
  • .... and easy to transfer their earlier 4.27% (monthly) EA ISA to it too!
  • Surprised this thread hasn't had a few more comments, good spot OP. You have been thanked. 🙏

I wish it was that easy as Bobblehat implied. I get to the online transfer of an old Coventry ISA to the new 4.9%. I am continually greeted with the message ' Page not found. Oops we're sorry. Something went wrong at our end'. I guess I shall have to post the transfer form!

It worked for me this morning - are you using the transfer ISA link on the account summary page?
  • It worked fine for me, using the transfer ISA link for the new ISA as above.

When faced with "something went wrong" type messages, I would try (not necessarily in this order):
    Clearing the browser cache.
    Rebooting the computer.
    Using a different browser.

Web sites (particularly their interactive bits like this) sometimes have a problem with a particular browser. (They obviously  don't always properly test all the main browsers!). Whenever I've had such an issue, one or other of the suggestions on my list has always provided a solution.

People reporting some problems with the Coventry website this morning on the Savings & Investments Forum ... try again later.

I had exactly the same problem - gave them a ring and was through within five minutes - transfer done instantly and visible when I logged in again.

Anyone managed to open one online? I applied on Tuesday and was told to print out a form, sign it and send photos of my ID and a photo of me holding the ID which I've tried to do but still not heard anything back.

Yes, I opened one on Tuesday quite easily, totally online, and transferred in money from an existing Coventry ISA at the same time. But, of course, I am an existing member and it sounds as though you are not. ID checks may hold things up, particularly if these coundn't be done electronically. When you say "send photos ...", do you mean send by post or upload them to their web site?
