Pigpen it's very hard to think about making a big leap when you've got people relying on you for sure. I hope your making goes well
Thanks Jazee
Not much planned for bday today, Mr Flamingo was due to run but is still poorly. I have a sore wrist. It's been getting wore the more cleaning and decluttering I'm doing, so maybe carpel tunnel? Today is just going to be dailies I think, plus the hoovering I didn't do last nightMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Flamingo I think a lot of us feel like that at times. I am older than you and have made my peace with the decisions I have made along the way, including the fact that I changed career when I probably shouldnt have done. Are there things that you could change like getting a part time job or even a new hobby? Or is this just a blip brought on by your birthday when really things aren't too bad? I don't know you but if you are a mum with health issues doing the best you can you definitely aren't a failure! x
Awful nights sleep, dreaming and unsettled and I still have stomach ache. My body does not like antibiotics. Off to do my volunteering bit soon then I think it's a day pottering at home, maybe some gardening. I was looking at our finances last night and it's depressing, I want to free up more cash to pay off our debts but can't see many places where we can cut back. Will look at it again later.
Have a good Saturday x

Morning all,
Happy birthday to Flamingo 🎂.
Hugs to YL x. Catastrophising (not sure that is a word, or if it is, that it is spelt correctly, but hopefully you get my drift) is my forte. It’s so wearing and anxiety inducing, but I can’t stop myself going down the What If… routes.
It’s lovely to see the thread moving so much again. My flying has been ermmmm minimal over the past couple of days. My list is huge. No excuses, but this weekend I have to Make A Difference somewhere, just anywhere, as long as I can see it.But first of all, cuppa 2 calls. Any joiners?7 -
YL because I'm a carer for my son I can't work much (carer's allowance), though I am considering volunteering in a charity shop after October half term to get a bit more self back. DS has only just moved up to secondary, and the longer hours on him are taking their toll, so need him more settled first.
Fayolle, latte please
I need to get up and doing dailies, but not feeling it!Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Joining Fayolle for that second brew 🫖
Morning all xx
Happy Birthday flamingo 🎂 🎈
I'm up, made my bed, and supped my first brew. Survived another chaotic week at work. Which ended with my colleague winning the staff lottery draw, £5500!!! I can't even imagine having that much money drop into my bank account.
I'm going to set WM swishing and enjoy that second brew.
Back soon

Oooh, I have Joiners ☕️😊. Maybe the inaugural Saturday Second Brew Coffee Shop club. Well, that’s a snappy name - not. Kettle and coffee machine are on. I have toast too if you’d like a slice to go with the cuppa.7

Happy Birthday Flamingo
2 lots of washing done, going to peg it out after my vertical half hour. I have some errands to do and chilli jam to make, but I need chillis and sugar. I left the jars at work so i need to collect them, and i have some picture-hanging hardware to sourceDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Dog walked and I've just finished that second cuppa. Washing up next then a little tidying in the garden?Spend less now, work less later.8

I'm dressed, sploshed bleach down the loo and pegged out first load. Second load is swishing.
Next I'll put out the rubbish and recycling, replace bin bags and feed the birds.

Morning all
Happy birthday flamingo. I am 38 in a few days time xx
Catastrophising absolutely is a word Fayolle. I have a PHD in it 🙈.
Busy morning so far. Off at 7.30am to town to fill the car with petrol 🥺🥺, then drop the dog at the groomer. I’ve bedded out the trailer ready to take some lambs to the abattoir this week. Collecting dog soon then we need to go and look at new wood burners. Our living room one is so totally unsafe to use, and given that it’s lit all day every day 4 months of the year we need one that is sound.
Seen one that has an oven part in it too but it’s £500 more than the ‘standard’ one, which just isn’t in the budget. Gutted because it would save me a fortune in the long run but no staff lottery win for me this week 🤣🤣. I bet your colleague is having quite a weekend Round!!
One load of washing on the line but no wind and all so doubt it will dry, it will just ‘lighten’ it as my grandma used to say.
Take care lovelies xx8
