The defence has been emailed - realised after sending it was in Word!!!!

I knew it had to be PDF - and thought it had been saved as such when I worked on it over the weekend.

I have had the generic reply now...

Thank you for your email which may be in relation to delays you have experienced with our service. I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the service provided by us. We understand the delays that you are currently experiencing can be frustrating and fall short of the standards you rightly expect of us. As a public service, we record all complaints and regularly review points that are raised to improve our service. etc

Should I resend as a PDF.

Sorry - I know I haven't followed the instructions. So stupid of me!!!!

I've read the full reply from CCBC - which said don't send duplicate messages - but also stated that if not sent in the correct format it would be regarded as not being sent. So I've attached it as a PDF and replied to the original email - apologising and saying please find attachment as PDF.
  • It shouldn't be a problem as long as the PDF version has the exact same wording as the Word version.

And was the reply from the right CCBCAQ email and did you get an auto-reply back today to that PDF?

I don't think replying was the right thing to do You should have re-sent it afresh, not replied.

I was just concerned as they said not to send duplicates. I got the same reply the second time. The deadline is tomorrow. Would you sent it again tomorrow in working hours?

As long as you sent it to the right CCBCAQ email as stated in the Template Defence thread and got an auto-acknowledgement, you are fine.

The next stage is taking 2 months at the moment, so to remind yourself what comes next do re-read the first 12 steps in that sticky thread.

Realised - I didn't explain it well - I didn't reply to their automated email.

I went in my sent folder and clicked reply all - so it just has my original email and then above where I have sent it again to the same address - I've said apologies please find attached in PDF version.

I think that should be ok - shouldn't it?
