Received Claim Form from Civil National Business Centre regarding Parking Eye

Firstly apologies - I have read through the newbies post.
However - I was still looking for some guidance. My partner has received a claim form from CNBC regarding a Parking Eye notice from May 2022. The issue date is 31/08/23.
My partner was not the driver.
Is it too late to request a SAR and email them direct as mentioned in the newbies post?
Or is he already at the MCOL stage?

He is already at MCOL stage. Copy another recent ParkingEye defence that mentions the false added £20 that wasn't on the signs.
Please show us the PARTICULARS OF CLAIM as you may have to alter para 2 of the Template Defence. I don't think PE claims are 'devoid of detail'. Show us but redact the VRM.
DO NOT SHOW THE WHOLE CLAIM FORM.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

...is he already at the MCOL stage? With a Claim Issue Date of 31st August, your partner has until Tuesday 19th September to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, your partner has until 4pm on Tuesday 3rd October 2023 to file his Defence. That's nearly three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't let him leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
Everything must be done in the name of the named Defendant.1 -
I have completed the MCOL form
Will start working on defence
Thanks for your help0 -

You have covered up what might be an important part which states: -
PCN details are: -
Does that state why the PCN was issued? If not you have a POC that is sparse and devoid of details!0 -

You didn't tell us it's a DCBLegal Claim! I can tell by a giveaway sentence. Easy to defend and see off.Just read other DCBLegal defences such as the ones in the threads by @andyl3004 and @xavian1234
The latter is exactly like your case and they too, forgot to tell us their ParkingEye claim was filed by DCBLegal but we also sussed it in time to create a very good defence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
