Good idea to set an alarm to move the car. I’d probably forget to set the alarm in the first place!

That was me this morning 🤦 Thankfully we I got back to the car there wasn't a ticket (on street parking) I'm usually very good at setting my parking alarm and I even thought as I got out of the car in the pouring rain as soon as I get inside the building (less than a minute) I need to set my alarm. Normally I set the alarm whilst still sitting in the car, why didn't I?

Ha - BB I actually did mine while walking back to the office in the pouring rain from the T's car park stage of proceedings - if I do it immediately then I'm usually fine, but if I left it "until..." I'd definitely risk forgetting! Gad you escaped the dreaded ticket!

Car now on its penultimate move - sitting in the parking bay outside the office where it can stay until 2pm. Then it's round the back of the office until home time.

It had occurred to me that as and when (if and when, really) our working patterns changed a cat sitter could be an option TMV - so that's a good suggestion. Beanie - cat flap not an option in our house - we don't have any external doors that would allow it! Even then though, that wouldn't change the thing of us being out a lot leaving the poor puss spending a lot of alone time really. We do pride ourselves that we would be responsible pet owners again as and when - and right now, having an animal in the household really wpouldn't be responsible of us.

And you might end up with one like mine who brings the mice IN. He (the cat) is called Smiffy after the Beano Bash Street Kids character and is aptly named. He also gets called Smiffles, or Smiffballs, or "Oh god, not another mouse".
