Morning all.
I was utterly worn out mentally yesterday by the traffic jams all the way to the horse piddle, followed by the physical demands of my new Action Heart programme. I had to get back home in time to meet the workman who is going to replace the rotting decking, so I only had time to pop into MrAl for enough food to make our evening meal. That means that the big shop has been carried forward to today's to-do list. Same with wiping the old computer - but I need some advice from DS1 before I do that, so I'll try phoning him. In any case, I need to know what time he wants us to go round for tea tonight (at this rate I might be taking the whole computer set-up with me!).
Other jobs to be done:
- hang out the WMx2 that I did yesterday; FUPA when dry
- walk Rosie
DH has not surfaced yet, but I'd best make a start and hope that breakfast will miraculously appear before lunch.
One day I might actually fly again.... See you later xxx8 -
Morning all xx
Well now, I wonder what word iona used that didn't make it through the censor! 🤔 Because I know that iona will not have sweared or disrespected the landscaper/ decorator. I'm intrigued.
I'm up, made my bed and had a brew. Late up but nothing spoiling. It's a lovely day so I'm going to unmake my bed and wash my bedding.
Another brew and breakfast first. Then
To Do Today List
Get dressed
Strip bed and wash bedding
Feed the birds
Fill birdbath
Put out rubbish and recycling
WUDUPA
That'll do for starters. I'm going over to DS and F (formerly GF) 's for tea, so I have all day to flutter.
Love to all
Rxx

Morning all, first and foremost happy belated birthday wishes Round, sorry I missed it yesterday 😢
A huge àaaaaaaaaaah! I don't know whether I'm coming or going at the moment. My house is a bloody mess, there is carpe everywhere, things that need cleaning, cupboards to be emptied, personal items to be packed, washing to be done etc etc etc... The ironing can wait, we have enough ironed clothes to keep us going until the weekend now..
My body is crying in pain, I fell over with a huge splat, on Thursday lunchtime, walking to the carpark from my final support group. I literally hit the kerb with a huge bang! Have completely knackered my knee with taking a lump out of it and now it keeps screaming at me in pain when I go to stand up from sitting down...
Next week is going to be utter mayhem as my car is going into be serviced, a surveyor is coming to see the house for the buyers (he can't see much there are boxes everywhere..lol), the packer is coming Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday, I'm out for a lunchtime meal on Tuesday to say goodbye to my friends, the TV/internet is being cut off at one minute past midnight Tuesday/Wednesday morning and I just want to run away...lol
DH can't do much as it's his chemo weekend which wipes him out totally so it's all on me...aaaah!!!

Natty.. rest that knee and get some help in.. honestly.. if I had a licence I would be there helping. Did you get it checked out at the walkin to make sure nothing was chipped or dislodged.
I got to sleep about 2:3 and was awake at 7.. I am decluttering pink&whites atm.
School shoe shopping at 5.. I made a measuring appointment for Clarks... and praying none are expensive.
Finding my own shoes and hanging out washing and sending OH to strip the bedding.
Ooooh pizza day... I don't have to do food.. score!

Well…that must have been one helluva new year’s eve party, as I seem to have lost a whole week!!
First and foremost, belated happy birthday to my dear flyfriend Round 🎂🎉xx
I lurrrvvvvve September and autumn too. My most favouritest time of the year. For some reason this year I had a real urge to buy myself a new pencil case, pens and (bizarrely as I would have no idea what to do with most of the contents) a geometry set in a tin 🤣. I resisted…
Not sure where the week went. Builders are still here, dust just appears from nowhere, everything, like making a cup of tea, is such an effort. I have been working full time to get out of the way, so am shattered, not helped with more changes being rushed in at work. This week’s conundrum - when is redundancy not redundancy…I am biding my time, but don’t take me for a sucker, mister new boss.As it is the time of resolutions and all that, I have enlisted in the OU’s Take 5 to Age Well initiative. 30 days to make one of their challenges into a habit. Day 2, still hanging in there.
Flying is back to weekends only atm. So frustrating. Of course the allotment is also hurtling at full pelt, and I have no way of jamming or pickling atm, plus 2 packed freezers. Plums, spinach and beans were today’s harvest.
Well done, Piggers, on surviving the ordeal. Gentle hugs for Natty and Valli. Supportive flylady hugs for Narc0 and ASB for coping. Love to everyone else. New Year’s resolution number one - get back into the flylady fold, ‘cos you are all fab x7 -
i’ve spent today moving frogs (actual hopping ones) two inc a teeny tiny one which must have been a tadpole a few weeks ago ourbof the way of the lawnmower and the last one, much bigger, has been rescued from the cat who had trapped it in the rabbit rune. Helpfully it hopped INTO THE HOUSE so then we had to usher it back out again… cue much girly squealing because it kept jumping…im not scared of them but i could not catch it and they just dry up if trapped indoors and i wanted it out. cat temped away room said frog with dreamiest.
took worknpbench and plane back to the aged ps, also gave dad his new stamps as i had.put them with mine for the swap out. spent this afternoon napping, hardly surprising given i was awake a lot last night. not needed any loperamide today, thank goodness. Been to chemist (near aged ps.., two birds and all that). I’m in bed now with Mike Ripley’s Angel on the kindle

Hope your knee is improving Natty.
Lake swim followed by a brisk walk round half the running course.
Seemed to do lots of washing up today.
One load washing done.
Garden stuff done.
Various bits of admin done including checking pension, emailing finance guy, filing paper which seems to breed in my 'in' tray.
About to formalise to-do lists for pre-aquathlon and holiday as a lot of stuff is floating in my head and I'm bound to forget it at the critical time.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7
