It's taken the guys nearly a whole month of work but the cladding is nearly done, and looks amazing. Still got some interior bits to do, solar PV to reconnect, garden wall cladding to do, garage roof + rewire.....I suspect we'll easily pass the 20 months mark before there is any sign the final invoice to the builders is due!

Looks lovely. I can see that you’ve left the diamond shaped leading on some of the older windows, do you intend to change that out?Asking because we’ve just opened out our kitchen and put clear glass in the new enlarged window, we are very happy from the inside, but it does look slightly odd from the back garden with a mix of window styles in sight.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. ^We actually like the contrast between the ‘old’ and new, so keeping the old windows was a choice, the next owners of the house can change them out if they wish
.
Managed to sort out the networking cabinet to make it much more logical this morning, it’s these little ‘problems’ in the life that feel quite satisfying to resolve.
