Love the blanco sink. We put one in our new kitchen, though in the dark granite effect. The plug/ drain set up is really pleasing when you get used to it.

I will always remember climbing up the scaffolding when the front gable steels were just installed and thinking !!!!!! is going on!!! How the builders have managed to turn this wreck into the best part of the house is still beyond me.

We are in   

It feels like we've been cleaning, unpacking, snagging for the last week 24/7, but we are getting there. Still plenty of work on the outside to do, but nothing beats having a drink in your own kitchen and waking up in your own bed!!!

Saving money is something I've had ingrained into me since childhood, but when you are exchanging money for something that is a literally dream, the numbers suddenly really don't carry much value.

Thanks for all the comments, the cladding is going on now, we had to wait 6 weeks for it to come into stock and at points were tempted to order a substitute, but I'm really glad we didn't. Up close you can really tell a decent quality product.

The media room also now 'live'. I know MSE is about not spending money, but when you can get exchange if for experiences thar really do change the way you live, it really isnt painful to part company with it .
