I'll have to see whether that works. Not sure it would, but worth giving it a go.la531983 said:I know this doesnt help you for historic data but going forward, maybe add the card details from the app to Google or Apple Pay and use those instead?
Easiest thing would probably use a different card for public transport in future
Another card (Barclays) which I added to Google Pay for a 5% cashback offer didn't work, so I suspect adding Chase to Google Pay won't work eitherI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
For TfL at least where people have not been able to see their journey history, their physical card needed using once first. The solution offered was to delete the virtual card from the online account, use the physical card once, then add the virtual card to your account.

No reason why it wouldnt, isnt it just a card reader to get on the bus? Works everywhere else on public transport I have been with a phone with NFC as a feature.surreysaver said:

My Chase card has been on Google Pay ever since they supported it. It uses the details from the app (where the CVC is visible), not the details from the physical card.0 -
Both mine and spouse's chase card work on Google pay/wallet without any problems.la531983 said:

Google Pay uses a virtual card number as well. So you're using a virtual card number to create another virtual card number, so no, it won't workla531983 said:

Think @surreysaver and @la531983et al are talking about 2 different things not working.
@surreysaver can't obtain journey details from their (unspecified) bus company's system because it won't accept his (virtual) Chase card details or the virtual card details used by Google Wallet.
Don't think anyone is having difficulty adding Chase (or other) debit card details to Google Wallet/Apple Pay or using it on the bus or anywhere else.
Have I got that right?

Probably. Sounds like there's a couple of people on this thread who don't understand the problemflaneurs_lobster said:

I was unaware Google Pay used a "virtual number" themselves, though. Was merely offering a solution for future, although evidently it isnt one.0
