Chase and CCV

So the 2 lots of PAN etc must be linked. So Op? Just needs to enter the online details & will get the history they need.la531983 said:
Chase have two sets of card details.
One is contained in the app and gives you the 16 digit PAN, expiry date and the CVC, and these are used when doing stuff online, or the details you add to Google Pay or Apple Pay.
The other set is contained on the card, which have no details printed on them. Most of the details can be found using a card reader but this doesn't produce the CVC. The two PANs are different but the expiry dates match for me. No idea if the CVC are identical, I doubt itLife in the slow lane0 -
I assumed he had tried that before coming here.born_again said:

Which bus company was that? I know you can with TfL, as TfL has the authority from whoever to link virtual and real card numbers togetherMSE_James said:I've been able to look up my tap-on tap-off history on a bus company's portal using my Chase details - think I just entered the virtual card details and it showed me the physical details too. The Physical Card uses a dynamic CVV, there's next to no chance of getting it.

I can enter my virtual Chase details and see transactions made with both my physical card and Apple PayOfficial MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
What is really odd here, is that CVV will not be used for any transactions taken by the company. As storage of CVV is expressly forbidden.
So maybe OP needs to speak to company involved & get them to link the card to the account.Life in the slow lane1 -
I would guess that they are verifying the card details with a preauthorisation as a security measure before releasing details of the transactions.born_again said:What is really odd here, is that CVV will not be used for any transactions taken by the company. That's odd, because I use a Go-Ahead subsidiary too which uses the same system and it doesn't work for me!MSE_James said:

I know this doesnt help you for historic data but going forward, maybe add the card details from the app to Google or Apple Pay and use those instead?1
